My late husband and I loved vacationing in Colorado. We liked the architectural design of the ski lodges and decided to build our new home to resemble one. In our area, we love the hills, the woods, and being serenaded by many birds. We are frequently visited by deer and other wildlife. Although we are in the woods, we are very close to many interesting towns.
Play disc golf and visit the Fish Hatchery at Enid Lake. Stroll around Oxford's Historic Square and visit bookstores, quaint shops, and a variety restaurants. In Clarksdale (which is a little over an hour away), stop by Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero Blues Club. While still in Clarksdale, also enjoy The Blues Museum and many Juke Joints.
