The Skipjack Corner Beach Cottage awaits you. Sit on the front porch with your morning coffee and watch the sun rise over the Chesapeake Bay or with your evening glass of wine and watch the boats head for home. There is no better view of the Bay.
Everything you need is within walking distance.
The beach for a romantic stroll or day of fun in the water is less than a block away, as is the fishing pier. Shopping, with something for everyone is around the corner (antiques, candy store, beach supplies, wine bar with tasting every Friday and several gift shops). The kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need for breakfast, lunch or dinner, including a picnic basket for your trip to the beach. But, why cook when North Beach or Chesapeake Beach's finest restaurants await you.
If you are looking for a family getaway, the perfect place to start or finish your novel, or just a place to sneak away without the kids, the Skipjack Corner Beach Cottage is where you should be.

About The Owner
Pat and Bob Carpenter moved to Chesapeake Beach in 2002 and purchased the Skipjack Corner as a rental property in 2008.
Both very active in the community, Pat serves as Executive Director of the Arts Council of Calvert County, writes the Chesapeake Beach Town newsletter and serves as the Chair of the Chesapeake Beach Special Events Committee (so always knows what to see and do in the beaches). Pat also is a florist, so expect fresh flowers to greet you on your arrival.
Bob serves on the Chesapeake Beach Town Council and as President of the Beach Trolley Association, an organization which provides trolley transportation around the beaches during weekends in the summer.
Pat is a native of Kansas, but spent 20 years in Oregon. Bob is a native of California. They are the proud grandparents of 2 year old Declan and a new grandson coming this August.

Why The Owner chose North Beach
We love everything about the 'twin beaches' of Chesapeake Beach and North Beach and this cottage was irresistable.
