We totally lucked out when we found this place! Avid VRBO renters, we have stayed in numerous cabins, condos, houses. None are as spectacular as this one. The setting of this humble (in such a perfect way) cabin is truly unbelievable. The views from the enormous windows in the living room are breathtaking and serene. The very large, quiet and private property is located directly on the river and there is hiking, swimming, fishing, rock skipping and exploring right outside your door. If you are looking for a very fancy, renovated rental, this is not for you. This vacation house is well appointed, clean, spacious, etc--but it's also retro in the decor and the furniture is well kept, comfortable and dated. It fit our needs perfectly. We came with three young kids and the in-laws and its proved to be a perfect place for a comfortable reunion in a spectacular setting. And, as the listing states, this rental easily sleeps 15 people (!). The three first floor bedrooms have double beds each and the enormous loft has 8 beds and sleeps 10 up there --seriously. I imagine it would be a great place for a couple of families to rent together. We are already making plans to come back in the summer to swim in the swimming hole.
