Great property

We recently stayed at this great property for an extended weekend. As other reviewers have said, the property is well maintained with modern finishes. The linens were high end and the bed was extremely comfortable. The small kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals (we didn't--it's vacation after all!) It was nice to have a refrigerator for snacks and breakfast items. The view is incredible. We often enjoyed our evening sitting on the balcony, watching the sunset. It was more of a "short walk" to the beach, as as other reviewers have mentioned is quite a hill. We drove to the beach, which I did not find an inconvenience at all. If I wasn't pregnant we may have made the trek. The property does get very hot in the late afternoon as it faces west and gets a lot of sun. The window unit did an ok job to cool it off. However, it cooled down perfectly at night. This is a great property, I would definitely recommend staying here. It's in a quiet, safe neighborhood. One recommendation for the owner is putting together a binder of basic information (check in, check out times, recommendations of places to eat, etc). We always use VRBO when we vacation and this is the first property I've stayed at that didn't provide any "touristy" information.

Amazing spring break in Lagua!

My boyfriend and I stated in this adorable studio for five days last week. The place looked just like the pictures and was exquisitly cleaned before our arrival. The bed is super comfy. There is a window unit for AC which we used at night just because the sun shines directly through the patio glass and heats up the room during the heat of the day. Beach and downtown are walkable however we rented a small car and are so glad we did. The walk back up to the house is very steep and street parking across from the beach access points are available. We are in out mid twenties looking for a relaxing vacation which this place definately gave us. The price is right and Charlie was great about answering any questions we had and checking in with us via text.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Romantic Getaway

Charming!

My stay at this property was an amazing experience. I travel for CA a lot for work and instead of a hotel - I have been going through VRBO. The location/house for me was perfect as it was walking distrance to the beach and shops and in a very cute neighborhood. Although it was a studio it was "built to fit" meaning it had everything you needed with all the comforts of home. The design is impecable!
I would for sure rent this studio again however I am afraid to give it an excellent rating as it might not be available!

Amazing Place!

We had an amazing stay here. The apartment itself is a perfect size. Nice kitchen, closet, and bathroom. We spent every evening on the patio watching the sun set and enjoying a glass of wine. We were able to cook plenty of meals in the kitchenette (with the 2 burners and the smaller oven/microwave and refrigerator, we didn't find we were lacking the full size kitchen).

Our house was incredibly responsive and while we didn't need anything from him (the place had everything we needed) if something were to have come up he would have responded right away i'm sure.

It's a very short walk down to Laguna and the Main beach, and the neighborhood is quiet & clean.

We will definitely be going back to this place again soon.

Awesome view and great location

The decor is beautiful, classy and beachy. The appliances and fixtures are top of the line. The rain shower head in the bathroom is very relaxing! The view is amazing, the gardens are beautiful and it is close to town and the beach. The guest house has everything and with the view you don't ever have to leave! I would stay here again and highly recommend staying at the guest house.
