FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH, 2 BLOCKS FROM BEACH

Be prepared to be shocked when you pass through the front door. This house is amazing. Full bar, chefs kitchen, huge flat screen TV's everywhere, pool table, the list goes on and on. And that's before you go outside. It sits directly off the intercostal with a covered back porch and cush seating overlooking it all. There's also a small pool and a great jacuzzi - both overlooking the water and yachts as well. Downstairs is a nice size bedroom with it's own bath - perfect for my grandmother (no stairs). Upstairs you first find the library with another covered porch, the master bath larger than most bedrooms, the huge master suite overlooking the intercostal (with a fireplace) and a second smaller bedroom. Both rooms share another covered porch - this one overlooking the water - with a spiral staircase that leads down past pink flowering bougainvillea to the pool and dock area. The two bedrooms upstairs do connect with a door, but by walking outside you can head downstairs or to the master bath without disturbing the master suite. The whole place is wired for music - finally figured out the main control is behind the bar. There's a two car garage - easy entrance to the house for anyone with a walker - and a couple bikes which were perfect for quick trips to the beach or Winn Dixie. BTW, when heading to the beach, turn left on 34th Ave instead of the way you drive in and head to the dead end. There's a brick path that cuts to A1A and the beach across the street. Literally a 10 minute walk. But I can see if you don't know about the cut through it could be a hike. Our favorite dinner was Greek Islands Taverna on A1A toward Oakland Park. But with a kitchen like that and the grocery store a bike ride away we spent more than one night at home grilling and cooking. My only regret about our vacation was that upon returning home my own kitchen and bath seem so tiny in comparison. The hazards of living large for a week.

We live in Bermuda Riviera but rented this house for our family from Denmark who was here during Easter week for our daughters wedding. Both our family and ourselves loved the house, it is a great location, you can walk to the beach and the public fishing pier, as well as to the best restaurants in Fort lauderdale. It is perfect for entertaining, large kitchen, great room with a bar and pool table, and the outside have a pool and BBQ area with full view of the inter coastal The owner and his staff are fantastic, they will answer all the questions you have and Jose will show you how everything works!
We will definitely rent this property again!
