PRESTINE LAKEFRONT HOME.BEACH IS ONLY STEPS AWAY

Having arrived at Logan Airport from the UK we found the journey to Plymouth fairly easy thanks to Sat Nav which is a must for getting around. We had an idea from the website of what to expect from the house but when we arrived it blew us away! The view across the lake is breathtaking and the facilities fantastic. The house was immaculate and very comfortable to return to after a tiring day sight-seeing! Barry was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble, even providing Smores for the chimnea! We spent 2 weeks vacation here and found it an ideal base to mix adventure with relaxing, we easily could have stayed another week. The boats Barrry provided for the lake were brilliant fun and made our holiday - something other rentals didn't offer.
We loved Boston (baseball, shopping Newbury St, Quincy Market a must!), exploring Cape Cod(Driving up to P/Town, JFK Museum in Hyannis, Cape Cod Mall) , a day trip to Mystic CT (Aquarium, Old Mystic Shoppes) and still time for the Premium Outlets at Wareham (40 miles away but well worth it!!). Plymouth is about 15 mins drive and has great restaurants (Mama Mia's, Crabby Shack). We must recommend British Beer Co restaurant for food and Marylou's for morning coffee, both are near the supermarket in Cedarville (10 Mins drive).
We all agreed this was one of the best family holidays we've ever had and have taken home some wonderful memories, thank you Barry!

My wife and I (with my in-laws) spent 6 days in Barry's lakefront home and loved it. The property is very clean and tranquil. We came out to visit the Boston area and wanted a central location we could stay in order to visit Boston, Cape Cod, and down into Newport Rhode Island. This house was perfect. It's about an hour to an hour and a half away from all of the above destinations.

I wish we had realized what we were getting when we booked here, because if we had known all the fun activities that we had at our disposal we would have planned more time to just relax at the lake house.

The only con I could really say is that the second bed downstairs doesn't provide much privacy. The house sleeps six, but it's probably better for a family of six rather than two couples. This house would be absolutely perfect for a couple and three to four kids.

With that said, if we ever come back out to MA, we would definitely love to stay at Barry's Lakefront home once again.

We had a wonderful family vacation here. Barry was great to deal with. He takes great pride in this home, and it shows. My two grandsons had so much fun catching bass, pickerel, and even sun fish. We would sit and watch the fish jump. It's a great pond to swim in too. We sat around the fire at night. It was so relaxing. We enjoyed all the sites in Plymouth, and still had time to enjoy this Little bit of Paradise.
