Cozy, quiet one bedroom tastefully furnished apartment across from the Northwest Arm, at the back of a private family home. This apartment, with its own private entrance, is ideal for a single person or a quiet couple.
The apartment has a queen sized bed in the bedroom, with both a single and double sofa bed in the living area for guests. The kitchen is functional, but small. Rent includes heat, electricity, local phone, cable TV, and wireless internet.
Equipped with everything, you'll only need your toothbrush and clothes. Bedding, towels, dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, stereo, clock radios, even your own washer and dryer. The house is located on the # 15 Purcell's Cove bus route, which has limited travel times, so a car is recommended. One parking spot is available.
We are located close to three walking trails along the water: Fleming Park, Deadman's Island and Regatta point. One km from the Armdale Rotary, 2 kms from Halifax Shopping Centre, 6 kms to downtown Halifax, 7 kms to Bayers Lake, 5 kms to Dalhousie University and 5.5kms to Saint Mary's University.
Rent is $1200 per month. Minimum of two week rental, but longer-term is preferred. This is a non-smoking property - inside and outside.

On the corner of Anchor & Spinnaker Drives
The Halifax Explosion occurred on December 6, 1917 when the SS Mont-Blanc, which was fully loaded with explosives accidentally collided with the SS Imo in the Halifax Harbour. A portion of the Mont Blanc's anchor shaft weighing 517 kegs (1,140 lbs) was thrown 3.78 kms (2.3 mi) to land near this area.
Regatta Point Walkway -
A nice walk along the waterfront. Walk down the hill to find the sign and entrance next to the Greek church.
Deadman's Island -
The island was used by the British military during the Napoleonic Wars and the War of 1812. French, Spanish and American soldiers died at the facility on nearby Melville Island and were buried in unmarked graves on this island. A plaque has been erected to commemorate the significance of the island.
