Why the Owner Chose La Turbie: Since we were students, our favorite city to visit was Paris. There, we would visit our aunt and uncle who each summer, would go to the Cote D’Azur and will take us along . It was through them that we were introduced and discovered this beautiful vacation spot. The land was acquired in 1965. At that time, the area which is also known as Chemin des Revoires, or La conca, was remote and wild, unpopulated, with ancient terraces and olive orchards. It wasn’t until 1998 that we actually started to build our vacation home. This home has been our project for the last ten years, and it is finally completed. Today, Villa Orbita serves as one of our favorite place to visit, stay and relax.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa: Villa Orbita is ideally situated above the principality of Monaco and below the small town of La Turbie. It possesses charms for the young and old, loungers and sightseers, active and intellectuals, connoisseurs and those who just want to get away from a busy schedule. By staying is this comfortable home, one can take advantage by going to the big city Nice and it’s famous ‘Promenade des Anglais’, Cours Saleya, and the cozy Nice city centre. The location of the villa is secluded and very quite. yet it is only 8 minutes down the hill by car to Monaco. The surrounding valley is beautiful. There are 15 olive trees that are over 250 years old. They certainly add character to the garden. Please also see www.villaorbita.com
