Tropical Respite from Winter

This 2-BR condo was spacious and a delightful place to return everyday after our daily trips around the area. Because we spent time enjoying the unseasonably warm Jan. weather at the beach, the beach
chairs, umbrella and towels were much appreciated. We loved waking up to views of the birds and dolphins frolicking in Boca Ciega Bay, as well as the palms trees blowing outside our windows. The grounds of La Puerta are beautifully landscaped and manicured, and the pool and hot tub are immaculately clean, offering a sweeping view of the Bay. A washer/dryer in the condo was great as spending time at the laundromat does not fit sweetly into our vacation plans (we were there one month so laundry was definitely an issue). . Isla Del Sol is a beautiful island with private residences and condos, as well as a golf course and tennis club, and we enjoyed many walks around the area. The owner was very helpful and kind and easy to reach by phone or e-mail.
