The Sonoma Bungalow is set under the giant oaks of California. This recently remodeled 2 bedroom home is surrounded by nature. Trees are seen from every window. This peaceful retreat is beautifully decorated with art and artifacts from the owners travels around the world. It has hardwood hickory floors covered in oriental carpets, a travertine tile bathroom with views into the trees from bath or shower, skylights, hand-tiled wood burning fireplace, and all new kitchen with cherry cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and gas stove. There is a 32' inch flat-screen TV, access to Netflix and Pandora (no cable, just movies or TV, for those who want to escape a bit of the real world), and high speed wifi.
There is a queen-size bed in the main bedroom with lush down bedding, and a full size bed in the second bedroom (note: the second bedroom is small and cozy!). The bungalow is located 3 miles from the Sonoma square in a quiet, residential neighborhood with mostly owner occupied homes. The street is filled with old, live oak trees and in the winter a babbling creek flows through the property. During the summer months all you can hear at night is the sound of crickets.
After a day of wine tasting or exploring the Sonoma/Napa Valleys, return to your retreat, park behind the gated entrance and cross the bridge to rest under the oaks, relax on the expansive redwood deck or dine outdoors under the shade. Perfect for enjoying the beautiful warm Sonoma days and evenings.

Gianna moved to Sonoma from the Bay Area 8 years ago and enjoys the quiet area, kind neighbors and great food. Sonoma is the perfect location: 45 minutes to SF, 1 hour to the ocean, few hours to the snowy mountains!
This property is special for those wanting a taste of living in Sonoma in a quiet neighborhood. Short walk to coffee shops and the lovely Sonoma Mission Inn Spa. Very relaxing and everyone who stays can't wait to come back!
My spouse, our two friends, their 7-month-old child, and I spent two nights at the Sonoma Bungalow. It was a perfect retreat. The owner warned us ahead of time that the home was on the small side and that the five of us might feel cramped, but we did not at all feel that way. The smaller bedroom is certainly quite small, but my spouse and I nonetheless slept quite comfortably there. The space in the home is used quite efficiently, and it felt just cozy enough for our needs. It was a perfect place to come home to after a day of wine tastings. Guests will hopefully love doing what we did: enjoy dinner and a few drinks on the gorgeous deck as the sun went down.
The bungalow was charming, comfortable and provided all that we needed in the way
of cooking and eating. Loved the area and loved reading the owner's children's books!
Would highly recommend this location and the owner was accessible and informative.
We will definitely stay here again.
Our stay at the Sonoma Bungalow was just what we needed. Located close enough to all our desired attractions and at the end of the day, completely comfortable and relaxing. The house was exceptionally clean and well furnished. Everything one needs to enjoy the beautiful Sonoma and Napa areas. We would not hesitate to stay again!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying in Sonoma with another couple at this cute bungalow. The home is about a 10 minute drive from Sonoma Square. A cab from the square ran us $20, but a ride from Uber was only $10.
With two couples, it is always nice to have an extra bathroom, but overall, this was a great place to stay-- wonderful kitchen, a great collection of books, and a convenient location.
We had a great stay at the bungalow. It was perfect size for our three person family. Our toddler loved Gianna's library. The house is a short drive from the Sonoma town square and very close to some great restaurants.
My husband & I spent a wonderful week at Gianna's incredible bungalow. It is a masterpiece of architecture & is beautifully appointed. Her taste is impeccable. This place was very clean and well maintained. It was the perfect starting point to visit wineries & restaurants. The listing information & photos were spot-on. we would highly recommend this property to anyone who wanted to stay in Sonoma. We look forward to booking a future vacation here.
