We had a great time here at this home. The home itself had plenty of room, and was such a great, relaxing and beautiful home. Playing pool way into the night was so much fun. The entire time we were there with our friends was a very relaxing time and a much needed getaway.
Thank you Mike, for a great weekend. :)
I just spent a week here with two friends and we had an excellent time! The home is just as described and we had plenty of room and all the amenities we needed. It was so nice to have a garage to park in - no worries of looking for a spot in a crowded parking lot! The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary supplies. The living room was welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed a few evenings watching TV and relaxing on the comfy sectional. The Games Room is a beautiful room and although we didn't use the pool table or piano we made good use of the juke box and had it playing whenever we were out by the pool. The wifi was also much appreciated as we were able to easily keep connected with family back home.
What we loved most about our stay in the home was drinking our morning coffee by the pool in the warm sunshine! The pool, although still a bit cold this time of year, was very refreshing on those hot afternoons and the slide added some great fun!
The home is within easy driving distance to the strip and if you prefer to avoid the busy-ness of the strip, there are many restaurants, shopping and golf courses nearby. The neighbourhood is very quiet and we went for walks throughout the area every morning.
Mike was an excellent host and responded to all enquiries promptly and we never felt that any question was a burden. He stopped by to check on the pool following a major wind storm one night so that was greatly appreciated. He also stopped by later that week and we were able to meet in person and catch up on a few details about the home and our trip. We would highly recommend Mike and this home for your vacation getaway!
This was our first time using home away. What a great choice we made! We were greeted into the home with a simple note and chocolates, the perfect little something to let us know Mike was there if we needed him. We never did! Everything was as described in the listing. Mike had guides and a book of tips there as well as maps and brochures. It was a great location, truely ten minutes from the strip due to traffic. We traveled a half hour to Henderson to see the Clark County Museum. This was a great half day activity that everyone from 3-47 enjoyed greatly. We also drove downtown, also a short but easy drive, to see the Fremont st. Experience. Go here earlier in the evening. My opinion is that if you want the kids to see the Vegas lights at night, stick to the strip. Fremont st. Was just a touch too racey, I'm glad our toddler took a break with Daddy for the night and missed it! We visited the aquarium at Mandalay Bay which was well worth the trip too. Part of our vacation was spent at the Grand Canyon. It is a 4.5 hour drive from the home but it can easily be broken up with the Hoover Dam, shopping for souvineers or stopping at some of the many attractions on route 66. Go into the "Last Stop" store when you first cross over into A.Z. (trust me) we had rooms reserved for the Grand Canyon months ahead of time. Make sure you stay on the South Rim! It was great to have a house to come home to after the G.C. As far as Food, our favorite places were on South Decatur. Food Express Chinese Restaurant had excellent service and food. It looks a bit sketchy on the outside, but you will not be disappointed if you love Chinese! The Bonito Michoacan Mexican Restaurant matched the Chinese place. Excellent service and food! It was wonderful to have 3 bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen to relax in. We played pool and used the hot tub every night. It was still too chilly for the pool, but the kids did get in because it is right there. The game room was fun to relax in too. The house was perfect to make breakfast in the morning and then go. ..I do not have any complaints about this home or our trip. Wait: Do Not go the the IHOP on S. Decatur....please trust me on that too! Thank you Mike for such a wonderful trip!!!
it is a lovely place, we all like it. Game room is excting. all feels very good.
We absolutely loved the accommodations. Mike was great to work with and was prompt when questions arose. Although we were unable to enjoy the fabulous pool and hot tub, the scene was beautiful for wedding pictures. We would definitely stay here again.
My family and I stay in Mike's house and we enjoy it alot everything was same as i saw in advertise and even more specialy the view of desert casinos from roof and backyard's view from dining room everything was well maintained we didnot feel the traffic at all close everywhere thank you again Mike
