The cabin was exactly as described. We arrived after a pretty good dumping of snow and could not get up the road to the cabin without chains. We grabbed what we needed and walked in, wasn't too bad of a walk considering there was nearly 2 feet of snow. We have a AWD small SUV and were able to get up the next day after the plow smoothed out all the ruts everyone else (and us) had made the day before trying to get up. The cabin was well equipped, the bed comfortable, and the setting quiet - all things we were looking for in a cabin. Have to admit, we were a little anxious about not having any cable but we did not notice it at all, had some movies to watch, read a bit, and just relaxed. It was really a great time and we look forward to going back in the summertime when we can enjoy the secluded back deck and BBQ. Our dog loved it as well with so much snow to play in he was in heaven and slept like a log. Had to email the owner a couple times before we got up there and was always quick in responding - thanks Nancy for sharing your cabin, we really enjoyed our time there.

Place was extraordinary , and lacked for nothing , we had a great time

I chose this cabin to get a few nights away from noise and the internet and to eat raw, healthy foods. I mostly achieved that, unfortunately there was some pancake batter (and even butter) in the cabin so I did make some pancakes. There's an endless supply of pans, dishes, and silverware.

I was there on weekdays in December and never saw another soul around. There's a house about an easy sand wedge away but no one was there or anywhere else. So I got my quiet and darkness at night and did get some things done I wanted to get done.

Once I figured out how to successfully light a log stove fire and maintain it it kept the whole cabin at a good temperature. I had a few false starts. I'd suggest a bit more instruction on the best initial architectures of logs to get a fire going for when an incompetent like me shows up.

Note that I have T-Mobile and didn't have any phone service at all. Not that I wanted it. But the materials at the cabin state that most companies have reception there. I can state that T-Mobile does not.

Cle Elum is about 1/2 hour drive away, far enough that you're not tempted to go for the slightest reason but close enough in a pinch.
