Wow! SALTY LODGE Private Rustic Lodge with all the modern amenities of home with an Aransas Bay view. Will accommodate large parties to intimate getaways for hunting, fishing, church retreats, corporate getaways, family reunions, etc. Comfort for all w/1-King, 1-Queen, 5-Fulls, 8-Twins and a couch. Also, 2 cots &1 queen rack bed. Fully stocked kitchen will make for great memories when cooking up your favorite meals. Stocked with seasonings, oils, crockpot, coffee pots, blenders, carving & skinning cutlery. 5 burner GAS stove, double oven, dishwasher and large fridge. Washer/dryer. Central A/C Heat (2 UNITS). Outside: Large covered and uncovered deck with 1/2 bath access. Large Charcoal BBQ, Fish Fryer, fish cleaning station & 5 dog kennels.

Newly Purchased : Since you are searching in Rockport you must Love this area as much as we do. John and I moved here Oct. 2008 and then bought a vacation rental August 2009. We love sharing in the stories and experiences of our guests. Our first rental is so loved that I fear it would not be available for our repeat guests. No Worries Now! We purchased this Lodge Feb. 2011 to accommodate You, your family, your buddies and girlfriends.

There is no other place in Rockport or surrounding areas that can host large groups under the same roof with the all accomodations of home. This Unique layout is set up to have family reunions, hunters, fisherman, corporate gatherings, church retreats, fundraisers, wedding parties, office parties, the possibilities are endless. It sets on .38 acres surrounded by tropical foliage and very private with an Ocean view.

Amenities: Aside from the fully stocked Kitchen, the Large BBQ - charcoal, Firepit & outdoor Fish Fryer. We have plenty of outdoor loungers, a hammock, Poker, Ping Pong to mention a few of the xtras. Inside we have Wifi, large DVD library, books, games, cards, etc...

Love to Fish? No Boat, No problem! There are many rental companies that are happy to accomodate your needs,. Just let us know your needs ahead of time and I will provide the proper information. We have many Guides that can take you Offshore,Bay, Jetty fishing too, if this is your preference.

Remodel, rennovations, & construction is FINALLY COMPLETED!!!! Woohoo! Please view the updated pics and see for your own eyes our new Salty Lodge comfort zone. Next phase of improvements for your added comfort planned by May of 2013: 1. Hot/Cold outside shower 2. sprinkler system - to groom lawn to park specs 3. Great fishing getaway!

Me and my buddies were lucky enough to find this home during our last fishing trip to Rockport. We were greeted by our host Malynda, she was very friendly and welcoming and showed us around the property.

With 6 bedrooms and 5 baths, this house offered us the space we needed. Everything was clean and ready to go with plenty of amenities. We woke up every morning to make coffee and breakfast in the large kitchen. And after a long day of fishing we were able to clean our catch at the cleaning station that is offered at the house and cook the fresh fish up on the grill. After dinner we got to enjoy stories and beers around the firepit that is provided in the back.

I would really recommend this home to anyone that has a large group of people. It was exactly what we were looking for!

Owner's Response: WOW! Thank you for your review. This home does offer space, comfort and additional amenities I have added simce this stay. In April 2013, I added a concrete firepit & grill, with outside kitchen, volleyball court, horseshoe & washer pits. Fun for all with the space and comforts of home.
We look forward to hosting guests yeararound.
