Never enough time to spend in Maine!
Susanne purchased this cottage in 1995
Why Susanne chose South Thomaston
There is so much to do or you can do nothing at all but just enjoy the air, the view.
What makes this cottage unique
We love this area of Maine, it's the real Maine. Not too touristy, but enough to keep you busy on a rainy day. It’s a place that you can be as busy as you want or just hang out on the deck and watch the boats, or kayak and explore the islands. It’s a short day trip to Mohegan or Arcadia.
Simplicity, rest, and peace are what we feel when we are here. There is nothing like a night’s sleep in Maine and that first cup of coffee the next morning on the deck. The sunrises and the sunsets are spectacular! Yachts and Lobster Boats, Osprey and seals, all in the same view!
Guestbook comments from the owner
We’re just back in Vermont after a really wonderful stay in your little cottage. It could not have been more perfect! 7 days of perfect weather didn’t hurt – but the place and setting were exactly what we were hoping for. Your pictures and information all set our expectations right where they should be – not always the case.
Thanks again for sharing your sweet little place with us!
