Modern 2BD apartments close to Bronte beach

We have two, 2 bedroom apartments in this block. They are self contained units, 5 minutes walk to Bronte beach and a stone throw away from the row of Bronte cafes and shops. They are a walking distance to all the Eastern suburbs beaches of Bondi, Tamarama, Clovelly and Coogee.

This property offers exciting opportunity to experience the lifestyle that Bronte offers. It is very close to the beach and local cafes and shops. It is a fantastic base for visitors to Sydney who would like to enjoy the beaches, shopping and city attractions all in one.

We have a preference for 5 nights and over.

Address: 1 and 4/33 St Thomas St Bronte NSW Australia.

It is located in Bronte, one of the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. It is easily accessible by public transport.

Our apartment is on the first floor and access is via one flight of stairs. We have another one on the 3rd floor, with delightful water views!

Sorry, they are not wheelchair accessible.

Lounge and Kitchen: There is a combined space for the lounge and the kitchen, with minimalistic feel.

Enjoy the new fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, cutlery, plates and bowls, coffee machine and milk frother in the kitchen and the new TV, DVD player in the lounge.

Bedroom 1: Queen size bed with water glimpses

Bedroom 2: Bed with an under bed - 2 single beds

Lounge: Sofa Bed

Bathroom : 1; modern, no bath.

THIS IS NON SMOKING ONLY. NO PETS ALLOWED AS AGAINST BODY CORPORATE RULES.

Free Parking: available at the back of the apartment on a shared first come first serve basis. Free on street parking on St Thomas St and surrounding streets closeby.

FAQs

1. Is there parking?

There is free parking available at the back of the block on a first come first serve basis (one spot is reserved, right most parking space as you enter the carpark). There is also unlimited free parking on the street where the apartment is located and surrounding streets. During a very hot day, the beaches get very busy and parking on the street could be difficult, however, with patience, you are most likely to find a free spot.

2. Is there Wifi?

Yes we provide free Wifi to guests. However, we cannot guarantee your connection as this could be due to your device(s) or other issues outside our control (eg telecoms provider network). However, we will do our best to assist you with your Wifi connection.

We also provide Wifi for your emails and simple internet surfing and we ask guests not to use it do download large files or to use it for internet gaming.

3. Can guests have an early check in or late check out?

Our standard check in time is 2pm and standard check out time is 10am. This is to allow the apartment to be cleaned for the next guests and to take into account that guests prior to your stay would not check out until 10am.

We can only accommodate early check ins if there are no guests staying prior and we can only advise of this 2 days prior to your check in date.

It is difficult for us to accommodate late check outs as our cleaners arrive at 10am to start cleaning the apartment for the next guests.

If you have a long haul flight and require the apartment early say from 7am, we suggest that you also book the night before to ensure that you can have accommodation as early as 7am.

4. What is your reservation policy?

We only reserve once guests have paid a deposit (50 percent of the total accommodation costs). We do this on a first payment first reservation basis. You could call us to pay by credit card or if you wish you could pay us via a direct deposit.

5. What is Bronte like? Public transport access from the apartment?

Bronte is one of the eastern suburbs of Sydney. The east is well known for its beaches and also being close enough to the central business district of Sydney.

In terms of public transport, there is regular bus service that stops around the corner of the apartment.

The main shopping centre and transport (bus and train interchange) are located in Bondi Junction which is approximately a 5 minute bus ride from the apartment. From the train interchange at Bondi Junction, it takes around 10 min or so to the City depending on the train station.

As our apartment is close to the beach, there are bugs at night that could accidentally creep into the apartment from the outside. We provide bug sprays. We pride ourselves with providing very clean

Are there rules?

Yes. There are cleaning rules, mainly around keeping the apartment clean and tidy during your stay. There is a list posted on the wall of the apartment. We ask guests to:

1.tidy up the kitchen after each major use;

2.not to bring sand from the beach by rinsing at allocated showers prior to returning to the apartment

3.be careful with luggage wheels and shoes (high heels) damaging the floor boards

4.keep the noise down particularly after 9pm

5.shut blinds in the lounge close when leaving for the day to protect the furniture from the sun

6.do not leave wet clothing or materials on the floor as this would cause water damage on the floor boards

Loved Bronte! We enjoyed our morning and night strolls to the beach...immensely! Had a few dinners at the restaurant around the corner called Three Blue Ducks and we enjoyed their food and the fact that it is very convenient!



This apartment was great value as our other choices were a lot more costly! It had all I needed in the kitchen and very very clean. We also found parking every day which was great! I only wish we can come back very soon!!

Great location

We had a wonderful time in this little apartment. It was a bit tight with our family of 6 and our kids report that the sofa bed is not the most comfortable place to sleep. However all the other beds were great, nice views sea breeze, well equipped kitchen. We used public transport which was very convenient, there is parking behind the apartment but the access way is very tight and I'm glad I wasn't trying to navigate it! Easy walk to the beach for swimming pretty much every day. Easy bus route in to Bondi junction for shopping or from there in to town. So much cheaper and better for our family than staying in a hotel. Would definitely recommend it!

This place was amazing!!!

We have a family of 4 and found the apartment was perfect for us. The description was exactly as expected with no nasty surprises. As we were going to the city every day, we found the convenience of the bus stop, barely 40m walk from our front door, was perfect for us. Also, of great convenience was the local shops, cafe etc. Possibly the best thing was how close we were to the beach. The 5 minute walk to Bronte beach and then onto Bondi is just amazing. The apartment itself was beautiful!!! From the moment we walked in we were very happy. Absolutely spotless, all the amenities we could want and plenty of space. For any history buffs, you have to check our Waverley Cemetery. It is really beautiful, overlooking the ocean and you can even visit Henry Lawson's grave!

We found the owner, Christina was delightful and very helpful and super friendly. Absolutely lovely lady!

We have recommended the apartment to numerous people and would definitely try to book it again when in Sydney.

Gem by Bronte Beach

Our family had a few days free post New year so we looked and found this place. We liked it very much as we planned to take pictures of sunrises then do the Bronte to Bondi walk. It is a short walk to Bronte beach and my favourite cafe 'The Three Blue Ducks'. Apartment is quite spacious for our family of 4. Beds were comfy. Linens are fresh. My 18 and 13 year old shared a room with trundle beds but there is a spare sofa queen bed which they use when watching videos they got from a Hoyt's kiosk close by. We had a fun weekend. Place is very homely, breezy, clean and spacious, looks exactly the same as the photos in its website. Most importantly there is a complete kitchen - big bonus also, we were able to bring our car and find parking.   Will definitely recommend and come back as it's value for money than staying at a pricey hotel. Thanks to our lovely host!

Loved this Bronte apartment

Our local friends have recommended that our family stay in Bronte as a base for our holiday in Sydney and we loved this apartment! Bronte offers a glimpse of the fantastic lifestyle Sydney has to offer.

It is modern and simple but had everything we needed. We tried different cafes/restaurants everyday and all of them offer great dining options. Around the corner is a famous bread shop and we had fresh bread everyday, yummy!

We thoroughly enjoyed the short walk to the beaches in the sorrounding area. The kids loved Bronte beach and the parkland! We also just took the bus around the corner everytime we wanted to go to the central business district.

I would totally recommend this apartment for your stay in beautiful Sydney.
