Upon driving up to this home there is an immediate understanding of why many guests have described this property as 'NOT a typical Hot Springs Village rental'. There is an immediate appreciation of the lush and professionally designed landscaping that greets each visitor. This is a single story home that features a wide open floorplan that sleeps 6 comfortably.
The solid wood floors make a statement when entering the home. Those same wood floors run from the entry into the hallways, kitchen and dining room. Both bathrooms are richly appointed with premium plumbing fixtures, tile floors and countertops of natural marble or granite. The master bath features a Jacuzzi Brand whirlpool tub and a seamless glass walk in shower.
The well appointed kitchen includes upgraded stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, solid surface down-draft cooktop and complete coffee supplies for your first morning cup!
There's plenty of comfortable seating in the living area to enjoy whether it's to watch the 50' big screen with satellite and surround sound or just to hang out with friends and family around the natural stone fireplace.
Due to the professional decorating of this home our guests have expressed that this vacation rental seems not so much as a vacation rental as it seems like....well, home.
However, THE best attribute of this property is none of the above. This home is set apart from ALL the other vacation rentals due to the magnificent views of the Villages's largest lake....Lake Balboa. The View is the reason the original owners of this home installed 4 sets of triple full-view french doors that open up to a massive wrap-a-round deck. Our guests have referred to this deck as the 2nd living area because that's where they spent most of their time. Strategically placed on the covered portion of the deck is a cafe height patio table with 6 chairs. That way the lake view can be enjoyed no matter what the weather may bring. The cafe height chairs keep eyes above deck rail height for an unobstructed view of the surrounding hills, forests and Lake Balboa. It's wonderfully peaceful, private and one of the best spots that can be found to share a steak and favorite bottle of wine. While on the subject of cooking on the deck please feel free to use the provided propane gas grill.
It might be important to note that this home faces north-south. Direct sun into this home is limited and keeps it comfortable throughout the year.
It's also important to some guests that this home features a two way split of bedrooms. The master bedroom is located on the back of the home with direct access to the deck for late nigth star gazing in the Southern sky. The other two bedrooms are toward the front of the home. All linens and comforters are luxurious and comfortable.

Hot Springs Village is a couples and family destination that many frequent every year. It's a place where nature, hills and wildlife can be enjoyed. It's a place where golfers can choose from 8 championship courses and hikers/campers can choose from several National or State Parks to play. It's relaxing and peaceful but with plenty to do for those who choose more activity. There are over 26 miles of graveled/paved, walking/bike trails throughout this 26,000 acre gated community. There are 11 lakes, 2 beaches and 2 marinas with recreational activities including boat rentals by the hour or by the day. Little Rock International Airport is 45 minutes from this property. Six of the eight golf courses are within 8 minutes drive time from the front door.

One of our other homes is on a long-term rental program and we are excited to offer this home as a Vacation Rental. We have always felt that this home should be shared primarily because it is a special home. As our guests, you will feel the peace that this home offers the moment you enter the front door. The floor plan is well thought out and there are beautiful views out each and every window from each and every room of this home. We love all the beautiful nature setting in Arkansas. The tall trees, hills and lakes.
We brought our family up to Hot Springs Village over Christmas time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has a very inviting atmosphere, while also touting some great views of Lake Balboa. Everything was very clean, well organized and as advertised. You can certainly tell that the house is cared for. The special decorative touches, especially in the kitchen, also make the house feel inviting right away. Our entire family, 2 adults and four kids, was very comfortable in this house and we enjoyed the stunning views. The owners were great and attentive to all of our needs. I would recommend this house if you are visiting the HSV area. While we enjoyed it during the winter time, this place would also be great for a spring/summer getaway with added time on the deck enjoying the view and the outdoors. Great house.
Very nice house and great accommodations, Larry went above and beyond to get the property prepared for our EXTREMELY last minute travel plans (same day!!). Only problem we had was totally unrelated to the house, but our own cellphone's navigation and the Village's automatic gated entrances (keep the map they give you at check-in in your vehicle). Would rent from here again.
Everything is as described in the listing. Fantastic view. Quite and restful. Very clean. Need to provide a blender and additional paper towels. Beds are hard especially for those of us that like memory foam. Some memory foam mattress toppers would be fantastic and that way if you don't like them you can remove them and sleep on the mattress. Bring your own bath soap as none was provided. I would recommend the property as the owner was very prompt with replies and the property is reasonably priced. Directions to property were a little confusing as Balboa street is only 4 miles from the east gate but we did find the property. In addition I would like the directions to indicate if you can exit the Balboa gate when your stay is over or is the East or West gates your only option. We enjoyed El Jimador, Last Chance Cafe, Home Plate Cafe, and JK's Columbus Grill. If you want to pick up groceries before your arrive there is a Walmart in Malvern with easy on and off.
This is the perfect prescription for the overworked, stressed out, and micro-managed person. The views from this house are beyond description, words just cannot do justice. There is an evening serenade that is mesmerizing and has magical powers to aid in sleeping. You are awakened by the morning symphony of nature that has taken over from the nightly serenade. Seeing the moon, the stars, the lake and mountains and all with the sounds of nature create a stop, listen, and heal atmosphere. Trouble sleeping, sleep with the screen door open, the best sounds ever. When you awaken, the view requires you to remind yourself that this is real and I am loving it. It is time to get away, stop, breathe deeply, and enjoy the serenity and views from this property. You will enjoy this little slice of heaven right on earth, don't miss it!
This house was PERFECT. The lovely couple that rented us this house provided delicious snacks, books and a great experience. The outside of this house looks so homey with pink flowers and a big leafy plant. We spent a magical Fourth of July watching fireworks on the deck. It was such a luxury because not everyone gets to do it. The fireworks were right over lake Balboa too. Thee beds were sooo comfy and the shampoo and conditioner were awesome. In the morning when you wake up, it is so quiet and peaceful and you feel really blessed to have found such a great place. Thank you Laurie and Larry.
My husband and I spent two glorious months in this lovely house and thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. The house was spotless, very well equipped and maintained, the owners are exceptionally accommodating, and the view is fabulous. The open kitchen makes entertaining easy, and the couple who visited us for five days were delighted with their very spacious guest room. We loved the quiet of sitting on the deck either to begin, or end, each day. Since we spent so much time there we came to appreciate the location, as it's about in the middle of the Village, so access to activities and shopping was easy.
Numerous State and a National Parks to explore. Ouachita (pronounced Wash-a-taw) National Forest and Quachita Lake with guided fishing is only a short 20 minute drive.
Our nations 1st National Park, Hot Springs National Park is also a short 20 minute drive from our home. There is an observation tower on the summit of Hot Springs Mountain that offers incredible views of the entire city and outlying areas.
