Four Bedrooms, 3 and 1/2 Baths, Sleeps 12

Huge 2398 s.f. townhome with double covered decks, views of the Gulf of Mexico and access to the beach nearby. Large master suite with private bath, high ceilings, light and bright, granite counters in kitchen, large garage to park off the private lane. TROPICAL POOL/HOT TUB RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR!! Relax on one of the spacious 24 foot covered decks and watch the waves. Enormous garage for your vehicles or water toys!! Close to the golf course, airport, Island Moorings Marina and shopping. Short golf cart ride to the center of town to see the Port Aransas Museum or cruise down to Roberts Point Park at the City Marina. Plenty of great shopping and restaurants too!! Go early in the morning and buy fresh shrimp off the boats.

THE BASICS: You must be 25 or older to rent this property. We ask that any towels or other items that come from the beach be rinsed outside before placing into the washer and dryer. While you are here our home is your home so enjoy it and treat it as your own. We value feedback, so if you let us know how we're doing it is greatly appreciated. We have tried to include things to make your stay enjoyable and we hope you will come back and stay with us again!!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION: This property is in a unique spot off 11th Street. It is private and quiet with views of the Gulf of Mexico. The pool is right outside your door and the beach is just around the corner. While in Port Aransas, a golf cart is a great way to navigate around town and cruise down the beach road. Sandcastle Drive is an access to the beach and is very close to the property. There are several outlets in town that offer various sizes of carts and some scooters for the more adventuresome. Beach Lodge is just down the street and is a cool place to breakfast. They have home made french toast and the biggest burritos you've ever seen. The golf course is only about half a mile away as well as Port Aransas Municipal Airport, La Barateria restaurant and the Island Moorings Marina.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: University of Texas Marine Science Institute has presentations and movies offered and you can find out about them in the South Jetty Newspaper & Visitors Guide. Charter fishing trips are abundant and bait shops too. There are several public piers around town including Station Street, Charlie's Pasture, and Robert Point Park. These are all free -- just bring your pole and some bait. Horace Caldwell has a modest charge and Barnacle Bills is a fun place to grab a bite while you rest between those big catches. Port Aransas also has a large community park that is pet friendly and has a jogging/walking trail, playground for the kiddos and a huge heated pool. Charlie's Pasture now has a nature trail and observation pavilions along the way. Birdwatching is great! Of course there is the Birding Center at the end of Ross Street and Paradise Pond Bird Watching site behind Juans Taqueria. Plenty of shops, art galleries and restaurants round out the the list of things to see and do.

SAND FEST in April each year draws visitors from around the world And is FUN for family and friends.
