We bought this lovely condo overlooking the bay in 2011. Top-to-bottom, everything was replaced -- new paint, new furniture, new rugs, and every last item in kitchen. We are hands-on owners who constantly refresh and replace. Our goal is for you to walk in the door and say, 'Wow!'

The condo is located on Sunset Island, the most sought-after community in Ocean City. This bayfront neighborhood at 67th Street was designed by same architect who did Disney's Celebration, the incredible planned community in Orlando. This condo is much more than a place at the beach. Gated community features both an indoor and outdoor pool; a $1 million interactive fountain; a state-of-the-art gym; a clubhouse with sauna, library, etc.; three private bay beaches (great for sunset viewing and for toddlers - the condo overlooks one of those beaches), a gourmet general store; hiking trail; and bayfront restaurant/bar featuring frozen cocktails and yummy food.

The Community of Sunset Island: If you never wanted to leave Sunset Island, you wouldn't have to. This place is unique in Ocean City; perhaps on the entire Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey coast. It's got all the bells and whistles, and if you're the type who wants more than just the beach, this is the place for you. The architecture is Key West with great colors, and open balconies and porches. The kids will never be bored with the indoor pool, outdoor pool and interactive fountain, and you'll feel safe letting them roam in this protected, guarded community. Adults will love pulling up a chair and watching the sunset while enjoying a refreshing cocktail. And for those who need a good workout before lying on the beach, the gym is state-of-the-art with treadmills, weight machines, free weights, elliptical, bikes, and three flat-screen TVs. There is also a one-mile trail that circles the island, and is great for walking, jogging or bike-riding. The island was sold out to renters last year by mid June.

Our Condo Is Special : The condo is on the 4th floor overlooking the bay. Some may be quite content sitting on the balcony and reading a good book, as the view is very relaxing and inviting. A quiet bay beach, with warm, clean water that is very safe for kids, is right in front of the condo.

The condo offers lots of extras, including an oversize jacuzzi tub and separate walk-in shower in the master bath; granite counter tops in the kitchen; TVs in every bedroom; a full library; kids' DVDs; and board games. I love interior design, and spent many, many hours hand-picking each piece of furniture and all the extra touches. See the video at http://bit.ly/noAjgT

Be aware that not all Sunset Island condos are equal. Some are owned by absentee investors who don't concern themselves with your vacation experience. We remember very well what it was like to save all year for that one-week at the beach: It meant the world to us to find a lovely, well-stocked home, and now it's important to us that our guests have the very best experience.

About Carol Sottili

Carol & Bud are not merely investment owners. Bud is on the Sunset Island Master Association's board of directors and is also a member of the condo board. Carol is on the Sunset Island's social committee. We love this place, and we are constantly striving to keep it wonderful. Our condos (we have two that we rent) are treated with loving care, and we constantly replenish and refresh to make sure your stay is perfect.

All condos on Sunset Island were created equally, but they've not been kept up equally. Whether you rent from me or not, please make sure the condo you choose is owned by people who care. I remember very well what it was like to save all year for that one week of vacation. It meant so much to my family to have a clean, well-maintained and well-equipped property. The few times we inadvertently rented an absentee investor's place, we were so disappointed. Ask questions! When was the last time it was painted? Are mattresses original or are they replaced when needed? Does the owner ever visit the property to make sure it's good to go? Are the photos of the condo current? I want you to have a great experience on Sunset Island, and that starts with you renting a lovely home.

Ocean City is a great choice for families who have different interests. Nature lovers can spend days watching the wild ponies, Sika deer, dolphin, and 300 species of birds at nearby Assateague Island National Seashore. Teens will love the easy bus service that travels along the length of Coastal Highway. Everyone will want to spend time strolling along the 2.5-mile-long boardwalk, which features amusement rides, great people-watching, and such culinary treats at Fisher's popcorn and Thrasher's french fries. For those who think Ocean City isn't sophisticated enough, look again. Great restaurants, including Liquid Assets and Galaxy 66, are now commonplace. Don't forget to check out the brand new Ocean Downs Casino. And nearby Berlin features antiquing in a quaint historic town atmosphere. For golfers, look across the bay to the Links at Lighthouse Sound (voted in the top 10 of new public golf facilities in the country by Golf Magazine). Or, you can just lie on the beautiful beach all day!

We've been here less than 24 hours, and I love it! I love the beachy feel of your home. Most of all, I love that everything is neat, clean, uncluttered and easy. Everything we need is here in your home. We've stayed at many places in Ocean City, but your home is my favorite! I will definitely refer friends and family. Also, I love that every room has been put together with thought and care. We have stayed at places with two or three nice rooms, but then the bathroom would be horrible or the third bedroom, not so nice. That is not the case with your home. Care has been taken with each room! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We will be back!

We feel right at home in your beautiful condo and, thankfully, we couldn't have asked for better weather this year! The kids had a blast at the beach and the pool (as did my wife and I). We really liked being able to kick off each day with a good workout in the fitness center as well. Have a great winter, and we hope to see you again next year!

This is such a beautiful condo with amazing views. My family and friends all had a great time, and it was such a warm and inviting place. Your decorating is beautiful and very comfortable. Sunset Island the perfect balance of natural bayside views, beaches and sunsets with nearby boardwalk attractions, ocean beaches and fun. There's literally something for everyone. You wake to natural, beautiful bay views. You can then proceed to spend your day with a jog about the trail around the island, a workout in the fitness room, a swim in the outdoor pool, or a swim in the indoor pool. The pools have poolside service and there's a lovely restaurant on the property for that casual no fuss dinner on the beach with sunset views. Meanwhile, the kids can hoof it to the ocean beaches, walk to the nearby market and shops, walk to putt-putt, or hop on the bus which runs up and down the coastal highway to get to the boardwalk and all the attractions to be found there.

The condo is furnished with all the comforts of home. A full size washer and dryer makes freshening up those beach towels a simple task. Generous sized rooms and comfortable beds make for a relaxing way to unwind at the end of a busy day.
There are enough electronics through-out the unit to keep all ages happy and enough patio chairs for everyone to enjoy watching the sunset from the balcony.

The condo was everything we could have hoped for - thank you! We would certainly recommend this property to a friend or relative.
