Allamanda Cottage is a stunning, self contained studio set in private, lush landscaping within the gated community of Leeward, Providenciales. This colourful, Caribbean retreat is situated a short walk from secluded Pelican Beach. At this tranquil end of renowned Grace Bay, visitors are tempted by unforgettable turquoise waters, pristine white sands and spectacular sunsets. Walk the shore in search of conch shells, watch Pelicans dive for fish, snorkel in crystal clear waters or simply relax with a cold drink and the gentle sound of the waves lapping upon the shore.

Allamanda Cottage is located a short drive from Grace Bay, close to the golf course and within easy access of car rentals, local restaurants, bars and a gourmet supermarket. With only a ten minute drive, visitors can find themselves amidst the hub of tourist shops, banks, cycle hire, ice cream parlors and other attractions. Leeward offers safe, efficient ferry services to neighbouring islands and an abundance of opportunities to explore the Princess Alexandra National Park, above and below the water. From Leeward Marina, adventurers can also take the opportunity to kayak or paddle board through the mangroves, sail, jet ski and dive with the experts. Visit the Conch Farm, just outside the Leeward gates, and take with you memories of one of TCI's incredible riches.

Allamanda Cottage can occupy couples in this open planned studio. Its closed bathroom offers comfort and privacy, with a shower, toilet and vanity sink. Equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, kitchen sink, kettle, crockery and utensils, this studio is all set for self catering. Its comfortable living space, with TV and CD Player, allows for relaxation away from home. With a screened porch, visitors can peacefully gaze at the stars and plan their next trip. Visitors can enjoy a private pool and use our on site laundry facilities.

About David O'Connell

The Owners of Allamanda Cottage met each other in the Turks and Caicos Islands in 1989. As international school educators, with global teaching experience, the owners currently live and work on island. Building the property in 2005 and living in the main house, the owners enjoy an outdoor lifestyle with their 2 daughters, who have grown up playing on the shores of Turks and Caicos Islands. We have family cats, that spend most of the day cat napping under the shade of palm trees. We respect the peace and tranquility that visitors seek and request that all who visit our shores leave only footprints and take only memories.

Having met each other here in 1989, we were instantly captured by the beauty, safety and allure of these magical islands. The depth of colours in the waters and the warmth of the people that we got to know made our life in TCI memorable. After years of teaching in SE Asia, we returned to TCI to find that it was unchanged and remained remarkably undeveloped. We purchased our land and then eventually built a home in 2005.

Simply perfect!

Our stay in Turks and Caicos was simply perfect. We are so happy that we were able to stay at this Leeward cottage. The location was wonderful as it was close to everything we needed and easily accessible by bike. David was so lovely to pick us up from the airport, take us to the grocery and then to the bike rental office to get our bikes. We were completely ready to begin our Turks and Caicos adventure in no time! We settled into the cottage quickly. It was wonderfully arranged and had everything we needed for a comfortable weeks stay. We enjoyed cooking our meals and enjoying them on the wonderful screened in porch at the back of the cottage. The neighborhood of Leeward is amazingly quiet and peaceful. It is only a moments bike ride or quick walk to the lovliest beach on the island. We were also very pleased to be so close to Big Blue Unlimited adventures and water sports company. We spent almost everyday with them in one way or another. We went on their Heart of the Islands tour, a Kayaking adventure to Iguana Island and through the mangroves and a two tank scuba diving trip that was simply breathtaking. We also did the scuba refresher course with them beforehand since we were a bit rusty. We really enjoyed eating lunch at the Flamingo and Da Conch Shack and loved the pastries and fresh bread from Caicos Bakery. We just cannot say enough good things about our stay at this cottage and the beautiful Turks and Caicos. Thank you so much again and again to David and Amanda for making certain our trip was simply perfect! We would return to the cottage in a heartbeat! Erika and James Decker

A Truly Wonderful Experience

The Allamanda Villa was exactly what we needed! From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. David and Amanda made us feel as if we'd known them for ten years instead of ten minutes. They were so incredibly nice and every suggestion or recommendation was spot on. The Allamanda Villa was comfortable, cozy and perfect for our week long vacation. Everything from the beach style decor to the screened in back porch where we had our morning coffee daily was intimate and wonderful. We will definitely be staying at the Allamanda Villa on our return trip to Turks and Caicos!

We had an excellent stay at the cottage in TCI. The owners were out of town for the holidays and had a local friend pick us up. She was so kind and prompt and showed us the around to the best places and local grocery stores. It is a simple 2 minute walk to the must beautiful beach we have ever seen! We loved our stay and will definitely plan another trip to TCI and to David & Amanda's cottage!

Absolutely fabulous!

We just returned from a week of staying in this adorable beach cottage! I've already started recommending this property to other couples looking for a relaxing beach vacation. David and Amanda were extremely helpful and even ran to the store when we needed a can opener!! They are terrific hosts!
They were always available if we had questions or needed recommendations for activities or dining info. The cottage is excellent for two people and the property is exactly how it is pictured here on the website. There were no surprises!!
Thanks again David & Amanda for a magnificent time...this was our 8th time to TCI and by far the best experience! We are already looking forward to a return visit!!
