Quebec City Condo Rental Photos and Description
2 Bedroom 1 Bathroom in Trendy Limoilou Neighbourhood
Limoilou: a taste of Quebec City the local way
Long misjudged and snubbed by the people of the Upper Town, Limoilou is the new favourite haunt of artists, young professionals and families. In recent years, the neighbourhood has undergone transformations, similar to the revitalization of Montreal Mont-Royal in the 90s.
With its 1,200 businesses, the trade boost of the area is nicely combined with the charm of its nearby natural environment: Cartier-Brébeuf Park, the Saint-Charles River, the domaine des Maizerets. In summer, the area is animated with family events and the terraces of enchanting, authentic and unusual restaurants, cafes and bars.
Three city-centers at walking distance
The famous Vieux-Quebec (Old-City) is at a 25-minute walk or you can take a 10-minute bus ride from the street corner. If you want to live the local life and recede from crowded tourist areas, you can opt for the heart of St-Roch neighbourhood at a 15-minute walk distance.
Otherwise, you will find the heart of Limoilou at a 3 minute-walk distance from the condo. I highly recommend discovering the variety of cafes and nice restaurants close by.
