A cozy little holiday house in the old town of Borgarnes.You will find luxury and charm in this old house. Just an hour drive from the capital Reykjavik. Excellent location to explore the west side of Iceland. Go sightseeing in Snaefellsnes, the national park, go fishing or hiking in Icelandic mountains and Aurora Borelis in winter. Near are restaurants and museums. The settlement centre, Landnamssetur. The Dússabar restaurant next door. The sport centre with swimming pool and hot tubs and steam bath. The park, Skallagrimsgardur, where the settler and Viking, Skallagrimur Kveldulfsson is buried. Just a 40 minutes drive to Reykholt and the glacier Eiriksjokull. Near the town Borgarnes are several golf courses, you can go horseback or hiking or fishing.

Golf: Just outside Borgarnes is an 18 hole golf course run by Golfklúbbur Borgarnes. The Golf course Hamar. There are several golf courses in Borgarfjordur valley but the Hamar is the biggest one. There is a beautiful landscape and good accommodation for golfers.
Ski: The skiing area in Bláfjöll near Reykjavík are only 100 km away.
