My family and I live in Puerto Morelos since 1978, and we love this place since. Because is surronded by nature: the beach, coral reef and the jungle; and is a destination where you can relax and enjoy.
Emilio Munoz purchased this apartment in 2013
Because is a cozy little space for anyone who looks for a tranquil place to share with the family and love ones. But also close to sites for visiting in the Mayan Riviera.
You get the quietness and relaxing of a fishing village; but, if you want adventure, near from exotic sites to visit.
Our family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights before moving on to a large resort. Wish we could have stayed here the entire vacation. The beautiful beach is right in front of you ... what an amazing view! Everything that we needed was in the condo, and beach towels were available for a small refundable deposit. The owner (?) manager (?) Rosemarie was an absolute sweetheart - she had lots of local information and helped us out of a bad situation when our keys got locked in the rental car. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient beachfront property!!
We loved this place! Right on the beach, only 4 blocks from town, and a full kitchen where we could cook up food from the local markets. New and nicely furnished with pots, pans, dishes, blender, etc and WiIFi. I found the WiFi to be reliable, but some units had some difficulty. The manager, Rosemarie, was great; responsive to our needs and a good local resource. Beach towels, umbrellas and beach chairs were available for a deposit. The patio overlooking the beach was great. My only complaint was that the surrounding grounds needed some serious leveling and landscaping, but the building was new so hopefully that's coming. I would definitely stay there again.
This house is as beautiful as it looks. Pearched directly on the beach, just north of the center of town, it was a perfect location. Walking to restaurants, shops in town was easy. Just 10 minutes down the beach you can hire a boat to the reef just off shore. Puerto is a lovely town with a very low key atmosphere, perfect for a real vacation. It was heavenly!
We stayed here with another couple ,they stayed a week we stayed for two. The view from our first floor condo was amazing the lay out of the condo ok.the second bedroom does not have ocean views, bummer, the condo, I guess because it was new, didn't have some of the stuff that we have had in other places we rent at.. The floor is polished cement, so can be slippery as I found out, when I crashed on my knees . The was no pantry items , not even salt and pepper.. There are no extra towels or bending, just a sheet and bedspread, no extra towels in fact the other couple only had a floor Matt , no hand towel, you are forced to pay to get new towels and sheets, we were told there was a laundry.. There is one in the main building but we were told we couldn't use it...There was no cleaning supplies, again pay if you want it clean,,,, while it may seem petty I refuse to have to pay for those services, .there is a shortage of chairs and beaxh umbrellas, the chairs we had were all rusty,, wreck two bathing suits and a couple of tshirts, infant I broke and the one they gave us was ripped, they umbrella for 4 of us was the smallest you could fine,,,these were annoyances that were frustrating.not sure
This tranquil fishing town is a great location for relaxing and enjoying its quiet waters. The waves that gently roll onto Puerto’s shore are protected by the Great Maya Reef, Mexico’s most recent addition to its National Parks and the second largest reef in the world.
