Beautiful bayfront setting with private beach. Unbelievably gorgeous sunsets. You might never even leave the house. If you do, you are only 1 block from the ocean in the southern, quiet end of Dewey. Bring your boat or jetski and enjoy easy access from your own back yard. Go crabbing, fishing, kayaking, or just relax on your raft. Park your car and leave it! Walk to bars, restaurants, water sports, or take the Jolly Trolley to Rehoboth for more night life and shopping. 2 Master suites offer the perfect set up for 2 families to vacation together. Bayfront beach offers hours of safe entertainment for the kids. Plus, if the beach is windy or chilly, it's always warm on the bay.

Great off season romantic getaway. Take advantage of all the festivals and events in Rehoboth and surrounding areas. Take a weekend and do all your Christmas shopping at the outlets!
About Carmel and Jeff Rickenbach

Jeff and I have been married 20 years and live full time in PA. We bought this house almost 15 years ago after years of group house shares. I gew up at the beach in NJ but prefer Dewey for the laid back feel, and friendly people. We have 3 kids, a girl and 2 boys who also love the beach as much as we do. We've spent great vacation weeks here, met lots of friends, and developed family traditions. We also have a little Jack Russell terrier, Manny, who love to catch crabs in the bay!

Our home is on a great street in Dewey. We are at the south end, within walking distance to everything, but still quiet enough to be romantic and family friendly. If you are sharing the house with another family, the set-up is perfect with 2 master suites, each with a beautiful view of the bay. All the bedrooms are generously sized so there's no need to 'draw straws' for the good bedroom. Ample kitchen seats 10 comfortable for dinner.

What makes this townhome unique

The private beach on the bay is great place to hang out with the kids, dogs, friends. The bay is shallow and safe for wading, kayaking, rafting...whatever. If it's windy on the ocean beach, it is always warm and sunny on the bayside. Best of all is the incredible sunsets! Honestly, you will not believe your eyes. All the sunset pics in this ad were taken from our deck.

50% due at signing. Remaining 50%, plus 3% accommodations tax, plus fee to purchase damage insurance due 2 weeks prior to check in.
Fees And Taxes 3% accommodations tax. $200 cleaning fee for stays of 3 days or less.
$3000 per week July and August. Minimum weekly rentals during July and August. Holiday weekend rate is $300 per night. Weekend renters are expected to cover cleaning cost of $200.

Great location, great place to stay!

My friends and I stayed at this house for a 4th of July girls weekend, and we had a blast! The location is absolutely perfect. Two blocks to the beach, two blocks to the Rusty Rudder and Lighthouse. It's situated in a great spot at the south end of Dewey.

The house itself is also great. The pictures don't do it justice. It's a huge space and is very nicely furnished. We loved the original artwork on the walls! Great views from every room.

I would absolutely recommend this place to others, and we'll definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay, Carmel!
