South Park Garden Cottage

We just wrapped up an eight-day stay at the cottage and we absolutely loved being here. So, so glad we didn't stay at a hotel or downtown (too busy). The cottage was perfect for us in every way--Immaculately clean, had everything one could possibly need. It really felt like home and vacation. We always felt relaxed. The neighborhood is very quiet and the on-street parking is easy. Took only about five minutes to get to the main highway. It's close to downtown, 10 minutes or so to Coronado. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating and are quick to respond to queries. I checked many other vacation rentals in many other areas, but I kept returning to this cottage listing. I really liked the fact that the owners live right behind the cottage. I'm so glad I followed my gut instinct. If we ever return to San Diego, I sure hope we can stay here, if they'll have us! :-) Thanks so much, Gloria and Sean, it was a pleasure all around! Oh, and the flowers in the garden are beautiful!

We loved the cottage. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the neighborhood was great. Everything we needed for a quiet vacation was right there - quick walk to a grocery store, restaurants, galleries, etc. Within minutes of Balboa Park, the Zoo, and the Gaslamp District, and very easy freeway access for Sea World and beaches. Thank you for a great stay!

Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown, the zoo and easy access to all major highway. The owner is very nice.
