Wonderful comfortable apartment - Highly recommend

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at this delightful apartment was awesome! Vi's correspondence before hand and then flexibility in meeting us earlier than expected was very appreciated. He has the apartment kitchen and bathroom stocked with everything you could want and then more! The apartment is as nice as the photos show - it is very clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom great and the patio was perfect for bird watching and sharing evening wine and cheese. The access is easy and safe. I was glad that we had a rental car because the neighborhood is vast - but we also enjoyed walking around the area too. Parking was easy - which is something to appreciate in San Francisco! My daughter had moved to SF a few weeks earlier looking for a job and she got an offer while we were there visiting her - Vi even had a bottle of bubbly in the fridge all chilled and ready for us to use to celebrate! We were very pleased!! I highly recommend this charming apartment for visitors to SF and know that Vi will assist you with any needs or questions about your visit. I look forward to booking it again next time we visit our daughter.

Hospitality at it's best!!

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time during our first stay in San Francisco and staying at Vi's place just made it that much better. Where to start? We arrived fairly early, before actual check-in and Vi was completely accommodating. He was even waiting for us with towels as we arrived during the "worst storm in five years!" He talked us through the apartment and things to do for about an hour. It was completely informative. He was very gracious in checking on us constantly. The kitchen is insane!! We use VRBO every time we travel and I have to say, this kitchen was stocked like our own kitchen at home; wine, fruit, coffee, teas, spices, freezer full of snacks, and the list goes on! It was amazing! He also had information on sites, travel, take-out menus. We had already reviewed the public transportation. Being from Houston, where there is no public transport, we fell in love with it. We had no rental car and it worked out fine. We highly recommend using the buses, and trains, and trolleys! It was so much fun getting around that way. We also had use of the washer and dryer which was great. It was so easy unpacking everything once we got home! NO LAUNDRY for hours! The location is great too. You can catch a ride into town just two blocks away, which is the NJudah. And you can ride that to anywhere in the city. It was a very convenient and quiet area to stay. There is also a great patio area in the backyard which we would've loved to use but it rained almost everyday we were there. I just can't say enough about Vi's place. Don't miss out on the best hospitality San Francisco has to offer!! We look forward to our next stay. Thank you, Vi!

This was a great little apartment. Close to Golden Gate Park & bus routes. The host is great and supplied us with some food, coffee and even wine. Great list of area services. I would recommend Vi's place to anyone.

Beyond Fantastic!!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience renting through VRBO, and now the bar has been set really high! Vi, the owner, was amazing. He met us as soon as we arrived - with flowers, pastries, wine, and a stocked fridge and pantry! The apartment was sparkling clean and very comfortable. It's a surprisingly convenient area, too. A short, 2 block walk will land you at a major metro stop which takes you right into the main parts of the city. When we did have a car, we never had to fight for on-street parking, even on street cleaning day.

Added bonus: on a clear day, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge from the front of the house!

I can't recommend this apartment highly enough. If we find ourselves back in the San Francisco area, I can't imagine staying anywhere else.
