If you prefer to drive, we are situated on one of the most scenic driving tours in the United States, circle Lake Pepin enjoying the view right from your car. Small quaint river towns around the Lake offer unique shopping and dining experiences.
The fall color change in early October offers an exceptional driving tour with the bluffs ablaze with color.
We are minutes away from six fantastic golf courses, three of which offer unsurpassed views of the entire valley from their bluff top locations.
The area also offers excellent fishing, you can even hire a fishing guide, be sure to call ahead if you wish to reserve. Fish for walleye, northern, perch, bass, and more, birding is excellent, the Mississippi River Valley is a major flyway for migratory birds (eagles, osprey, warblers, and more), skiing (water and snow), shopping and antiquing are all close by.
Lake Pepin is said to have one of the best sailing lakes in the United States, sailing lessons are available, be sure to ask for contact information when making your reservation.
From November through March this area is host to the highest concentration of Bald Eagles in the lower 48 states. The National Eagle Center is 15 minutes away where live Bald Eagles can be seen close up for that “nose to beak experience'
