“Las Puertas to the Beach” is a 2 bedroom/2 full bathroom luxury condo located across the street from the serene and gorgeous sandy beaches of the Gulf. The condo is tastefully decorated with modern interiors and boasts a large enclosed private patio equipped with an outdoor shower, charcoal BBQ grill, dining table, and chaise lounges. All the amenities you would expect from your home away from home are offered, including a kitchen complete with utensils & cookware, free Wi-Fi, and a washer/dryer. Need a little entertainment? In our spacious living area you can sit back and enjoy a flat screen TV with cable, DVD player and movies. We even have board games for all ages!

Take a dip in the swimming pool located just outside your front door that is shared by only 12 neighboring units.

To keep your car cool and personal belongings safe, there is a 1 car garage available for a nominal fee. Please ask us for more details.

After a day of fun in the sun, the condo comfortably sleeps 6 adults. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a large closet, LCD TV, and private bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with plenty of closet space and a LCD TV. Additionally the sofa in the living room converts to a queen size bed.

There are several restaurants within walking distance including Wanna Wanna Grill. For your convenience, the Island Mart is just around the corner and is well stocked for your grocery and any other provisional needs. Getting around is easy with “The Wave”, SPI’s free shuttle service.

We kindly request no pets, no college spring breakers, and absolutely no smoking in the condo.

About Luis Torres

We are working professionals that live in the suburbs outside of Houston. We have one son and one daughter.

Luis Torres purchased this condo in 2011
Why Luis Torres chose South Padre Island

Our family is from the Valley so it was only natural for us to purchase a place of our own in South Padre Island.

Las Puertas is our home away from home. My family enjoys coming to the Island to relax and have a good time. When we can't make it to the condo, we love renting it out to people who also want to enjoy all that South Padre Island has to offer.

What makes this condo unique

The South Padre Island is a great place to enjoy the brown sugar beaches and beautiful turquoise water. Our place has the amenities and seclusion for a great vacation. Its also fun to enjoy the many activities in near by Brownsville and Harlingen.

Spacious and peaceful

Our stay at Las Puertas was lovely. Lots of room for our family of 4. The place is airy and light, and spotless on arrival. We loved having a patio to relax on in the afternoon. The beach access is right across the street. We spent half the day playing on the beach, then back "home" to barbecue, then to the pool for the afternoon. The kids liked walking to the Island Market for an ice cream bar treat. The kitchen had plenty of counter space for cooking. The pool is very clean and a nice size for playing with the kids. The neighbors we saw were friendly, the building was quiet. The owners are very attentive and organized. We received our cleaning deposit refund by the time we drove home from our stay (2-day drive).
We plan to be back next year.

Just wanted to say how much we have enjoyed staying at your condo. The location is perfect, and the condo was beautiful. We had everything we needed and still in shock how close we are to the beach. My group and I can not wait to come back and stay with you again. The experience has been wonderful and we are all sad to go tomorrow.

The condo was very clean and well eqiuped as the online desciption stated. There are so many things to do in the area you need more then 7 days to do all you want. The Beach is only across the street, excellent location. I will be contacting the owner on future trips to the area.

I am extremely happy with my stay at Las Puertas Condo! The condo is absolutely beautiful! I wish I could rate it 6 out of 5 stars! It is very well taken care of. Everything is in working condition and clean. The beach is just a couple minutes away from your front door. My family and I had a wonderful time at Las Puertas. I highly recommend renting your South Padre Island condo from Las Puertas.

The customer service was phenomenal with the owner of this condo. The owner answered all questions and was very informative about his condo. He assured me if I had any questions day or night that I could call him. I will be renting from him again in the near future!

AWESOME!!!!!!

This was an awesome vacation experience. Our condo unit far exceeded our expectations. Very roomy. There was just two of us but it would easily accomodate 6 and not be crowded. Very nice private enclosed patio. We will definitely be going back. Loved Padre Island. Short, distance to the beach . and lots of great places to eat. We cooked in some and ate out some.
