Fun geta-away for three families

We had fun going to the AAA Chalet. We traveled with three families. All three families have kids who are similar in ages - 8-18. The kids all loved the game room, the space to spread out, the zip line, the fire in the fire pit. Jim and Bonnie were gracious hosts who made our time together very nice. This would also be a perfect place for a family reunion.
We spent two days exploring Zion National Park with our kids, including hiking Angel's Landing. We spent a day in Bryce as well. I only wish we had had more time to explore the Coral Pink Sand Dunes and the state park on the way to Bryce. It is a good solid drive to any of the parks. I was surprised to find that it was kind of nice to be off of the beaten path.
One thing I wish I had realized before we came down was that the kitchen did not have a dishwasher. We probably would have brought some disposable plates and silverware. But, the kitchen is well equipped with things like crockpots, an outside grill, etc.
Fun time!
