Kia Ora and welcome to our New Zealand home. Located centrally on Orewa Beach - 3 kilometres of flat soft sand flanked by native bushwalks and lagoon wetland. The property is absolute beachfront (10 steps on rolling lawn from lounge to beach) and provides stunning views of nearby islands from most rooms and kitchen. Newly refurbished and fully self contained including TV, CD player, airconditioning unit. Property is also wheelchair accessible. Town centre restaurants, bars, foreign exchange, supplies including bakeries and wine shop within walking distance. Outdoor furniture, canopy umbrella, barbeque and paddle waveskis provided. Very safe swimming beach with lifesavers and boat ramp. 5 minutes drive to golf courses, miniputt, natural mineral hot pools complex, and tennis. Day trips to coastal islands, boat and fishing charter and diving trips to marine reserve available. Adventure trips operator in town.     Deposit 25% of rent to be paid for confirmed booking. 100% to be paid approximately four weeks prior to moving in.

    Above rates are a guide. We are happy to negotiate on rates, although this is dependent on time of year, public and school holidays, level of demand etc.
    Tariffs for peak seasons, eg Christmas, Easter etc are likely to vary due to the demand for the property. It is wise to book many months in advance for peak holiday periods.
    We require a minimum stay of two nights throughout the year, however we reserve the right to increase the minimum stay during peak periods (typically a week).

Notes: A new kitchen complete with dishwasher has been installed. Further improvements include a new 29 inch television complete with DVD player. There are at least two very handy video/DVD shops where you can hire the latest releases for a very reasonable cost. We have had a resident painter staying at the property, and he has created numerous oil paintings from (believe it or not) the old kitchen cupboards. You can see these in the various rooms. Lounge has 180 degree sea views. Sea facing bedrooms each contain Sealy posturpedic queen beds and ample cupboards. Third bedroom has a bunk bed (double at the bottom, single on top). Linen included for all overseas guests. Many activities within close proximity including natural hot pools (five minute drive). Property sits on land area of some 1200+ square metres, and extends onto the beach itself. Off street parking for 8+ cars. 180 degree sea views. Sky TV now installed at the property.

Water Activities: A very safe family beach popular with swimmers. Lifesavers and boatramp on site. Fishing charter, boat charter, diving trips to marine reserve, adventure trip specialist available. Waveskis and paddles provided.

Other Activities: The property is close to three golf courses, as well as tennis courts, numerous beautiful bush walks, horse riding, arts and craft facilities. The famous Waiwera thermal pools are a five minute drive away. But wait theres more!! Just recently opened in Silverdale (5 minute drive away) is the largest SNOW centre in Australasia - so the whole family can go skiing/boarding if even more entertainment is required - and yes it is REAL snow at the Snow Centre, and it operates every day until late. And right next door are Go Karts!!

LATEST NEWS: June 2006 - SKY TV installed. Light a fire, and put your feet up and flick on the various channels. Or turn your head and watch wonderful nature on the beach side - your choice. Either way, you will have a ball.
