House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6-7)

This quaint house is located just outside of Lansing, NC, approximately 30 minutes from Boone. It has 2 queen beds, and 1 full bed, a private hot tub on the upstairs balcony, and a swing and hammock on the front porch overlooking the creek (perfect for fishing). It also has a satellite TV, DVD Player, and a wood stove.

Located nearby, is the beautiful Virginia Creeper Trail (a 17 mile biking trail with full shuttle service), Zaloo's Canoes on the New River, 2 Golf Courses, and many other areas of interest.

An Ashe County visitor's guide and a Blue Ridge Parkway directory and travel guide are located in the rental.

We had the most relaxing weekend I think we have ever had. The hot tub, hammock, front porch, creek and surrounding beauty was enough for us to want to visit again and again, which we plan to do. Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your little peace of heaven. I cannot wait for our return trip. It was wonderful to meet the owner, Barbara, she put the icing on the cake for the weekend with her hospitality.

Weekend Retreat

A perfect get-a-way for this overworked couple, peace, quiet, and solitude in natural beautiful surroundings. The stars viewed from the hot tub were tremendous, as well as the many many fireflys. Listening to the creek as we fell asleep at night was a nice soothing treat. The cabin is so open and airy with a quaint but rustic feel to it. Very clean and maintained. We would recommend this property to anyone needing a quiet restful trip. This was close enough to Boone when we wanted to go to the mall, but the local art galleries and shops were wonderful to shop in as well. We will be back to visit as soon as we can.

What a relaxing place to stay! The porch, the view, the hammock and hot tub were a package deal. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The owners were friendly.

Perfect getaway! We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It was very peaceful and relaxing! By far, this has to be the best cabin that we have stayed! The hospitality of the owner's was more than we could ever ask! We can't wait to stay again! We have definitely recommended to family and friends!

We loved staying at this quaint cabin. It was so relaxing to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The cabin had a cozy atmosphere and was very clean and neat. We can not praise the host and hostess enough for their hospitality. This by far had to be one of the most enjoyable trips we have ever taken. We will be staying here again..hopefully in the near future.
