If you’re looking to experience the unbelievable beauty of the Smoky Mountains, breathtaking panoramic views, privacy, and an atmosphere seldom found in these hectic times our cabin provides the best. Everyone says that there is just something very special being at our cabin. Perfect for your honeymoon or romantic getaway. The cabins views are spectacular, providing an ever changing display of the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. The beautiful view encompasses the living area, almost like they are one. The view can be enjoyed from the living area in the cabin, from the large covered deck and the hot tub under a gazebo. The cabin is easily accessible year round with paved roads. Approximately 8 miles to Gatlinburg, 7 miles to Pigeon Forge and 7 miles to Sevierville. You’re close to all the area attractions, but outside of the traffic and congestion that the area often experiences.

This is our personal vacation home so the cabin is furnished and maintained at higher level than your average rental cabin. There’s a gas grill on the deck overlooking the beautiful view. Enjoy the beautiful stacked stone gas fireplace on cool evenings. The cabin is beautifully decorated with upscale furnishings. There are two queen log beds with nature inspired organic bedding. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. The spa bathroom provides an over-sized jetted tub and upscale shower. The cabin has central air, state of the art water filtration system, full sized washer and dryer.

We provide a wireless broadband device for Wi-fi.

We provide plenty of towels and two spa robes to enjoy the hot tub on the deck. We provide complimentary coffee, tea, sugar and sweeteners and microwave popcorn.

Why Luana & Floyd Coats chose Sevierville

We have traveled most of the country but the Smoky Mountain National Park area is one the most beautiful you will find, with greatest people and great weather. We looked for a cabin for over a year and stayed in numerous rentals so we knew something very special when we found it. We have never seen a more beautiful view or location. Rather than looking at cabin upon cabin, we see the expansive mountain view and the farm in valley below. Since purchasing, we've been remodeling the cottage inside and out. We plan to retire in this cabin, its really our little dream home.

What makes this cabin unique

There's nothing better than sitting on the porch enjoying the view and the nature. The hummingbirds are regular guests during the season as our many beautiful songbirds. We enjoy the wonderful peacefulness only intruded on by beautiful singing birds or the occasional neighbor. There's just something very therapeutic at our cabin. Even working around the house is enjoyable in such a beautiful location. You can't miss a trip to Cades Cove or hiking the park's waterfalls. Occasionally of course we travel to town and enjoy all the attractions for vacationers.

Absolutely Heaven On Earth

I brought my Mom here as a Mother's day gift. Oh my, what a gift!! There are no words or pictures that can describe the views and the cabin. Floyd and Luana have stocked the cabin with everything you need and the cabin is the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The cabin is also very light and makes you feel happy. So many cabins in this area are dark and dreary inside. The views are so much better than anything we have seen in the park. We left only three times in seven days and could not wait to get back here at the end of the day to sit on the deck and take in the view.
I did scare Mom while driving up to the cabin, but I loved it! She forgot about the drive once she laid eyes on the cabin and view. This has been the most relaxing vacation I have ever had and I wish to thank you both for making that possible. My job is very stressful and I did not think about work at all...until today. We leave in the morning but I hope to be back very soon. I would love to just stay here permanently!

Smokey Retreat

This was our first VRBO experience. WOW.... does not describe enough about "Shell Mountain."
It is a peaceful respite from the world...My husband said to only go there if you want to completely relax.
One of the most enjoyable treats was all the variety of birds, turkey and a resident box turtle. We did not see any bear.
I can not imagine finding a view of the Smokey's better than this even during the rain.
The Coats are excellent owners and checked on us by phone during our visit to see if we needed anything ..but of course we did not as their home is totally equipped. When we drove in and opened the front door we were absolutely thrilled. There is a gorgeous view from anywhere in the home.
From the view, to the rockers, to the grill, to the hot tub--the back porch/deck is fantastic.
Of course, there are many close by day trips. I did a short drive to the Laurel Falls hike plus a visit to the Arts and Craft community. So many attractions in the area.
We loved the twisting road up the mountain to the house.
Would definitely return .

This cabin and the views are amazing. Floyd and Luana are hosts that truly care about your stay. We were so pleased to have stumbled upon this property on VRBO and even more pleased when we arrived. The cabin is spotless and comfortable. The view is surreal! It truly changes throughout the day. We experienced everything from sunshine to complete fog. Seeing clouds amongst the mountains is truly beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub a little but since it rained for the majority of our stay, we especially enjoyed the fireplace.
We felt this cabin was the perfect distance from any attraction we wanted to see and truly enjoyed our stay. We could not be happier and would definitely choose this cabin again.

Our initial opinion of the property was that it was even better and more beautiful than the pictures and description on the internet. The home was equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable. The panoramic view of the mountains was breathtaking. We have already recommended this home to a friend. Floyd and Luana, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. The view was more than we expected, the scenery changed constantly. We have stayed in the area numerous times but by far you have the nicest home. You thought of everything to make our stay comfortable.
