Set back from white sand beaches, twenty minutes west of glamorous Punta del Este, Sugar Loaf Ocean Club offers 2 and 3 bedroom luxury vacation villas with spectacular panoramic ocean views. The homes offer such amenities as DirectTV, internet access and housekeeping.

Sugar Loaf is five minutes from the beach, Piriapolis, quaint cafes, and a first class marina. The international airports of Punta del Este and Montevideo are 15 and 45 minutes from the property respectively. Nearby Punta Del Este offers world-class cuisine, designer boutiques, and spectacular night life. The Old-World city of Montevideo is an hour from the property with its European ambience, incredible architecture, and grand tradition in the arts, theater, and opera. Buenos Aires is a great weekend escape with daily flights and ferries.

Fantastic view and extremely quiet!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom house in this tiny community. The view of the water was superb. We had a few neighbors over the holiday but rarely heard a sound from them. The place had a washer and dryer that were helpful for long travelers. Wifi worked almost always and dish TV fun. Excellent bathrooms. Its a short drive into town for supplies or a bit further to the fun of Punta del Este and the Atlantic beaches. Great beach walks here as well. Perfect place if you like relaxing peace and quiet.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Rented the 3 bedroom house for 3 nights, group of 6. Modern, clean house with everything you need for your stay. Located just outside of main town of Piriapolis. Convenient to grocery store, restaurants, and rambla. Paul, the manager, was always available to answer questions. Loved the grill on the porch. View of ocean, sunrise, and sunset. Beautiful setting to get away from it all. Not a bad view from anywhere in the house. Would stay here again.

Rented the 3 bedrooms house for 3 nights, group of 5. Fantastic location for who wants peace and quiet. Very safe, very well decorated, brand new house. The manager, Paul, is very helpful. Supermarket in the city nearby offered us with great meats and we grilled them Uruguay style in the balcony, another great experience. At night, magnificent sky and view. Overall, highly recommended. Looking forward to buy a house there, or, more reasonably, come back for another rental period.
