Both the master bedroom and the living area have sliding glass doors that open to the 300 square-foot balcony. Each bedroom has a plushtop queen bed along with a flat screen TV. The living /dining area is roomy with plenty of space for the kids to play. Enjoy the sunsets from the comfort of your living room while you watch the latest DVD on your large flat screen TV. About The Owner

Having owned rental real estate in Nashville since 1988, I couldn't resist the opportunity to own a place at the beach.

It is a labor of love and most of my guests seem to appreciate the beach experience as much as I do.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2003

From the moment we opened the door and saw the view through the condo and out to the gulf, we have loved it. Your condo is bright and cheery, well appointed and comfortable. Our 2nd Home On The Beach!!!

Our family has been to PCB five times in the last three years. We have stayed at four different resorts and one of them twice. Emerald Isle is by far the best and we will not look farther. The resort is off the beaten path of all the traffic and congestion of Front Beach Road yet still on Front Beach Road and close to everything. The beach (with two beach chairs included in the condo rental) is beautiful and not over crowded. The resort itself gives you four elevators which are quick and easy to get up and down. NO CRAZY WAITING like with the other larger resorts. Now, the CONDO!! The BEST on the beach! The balcony is worth the rental by itself! It is one of the largest on the beach and gives you views as far as the eye can see. We spotted dolphins jumping around in the early morning. As for the condo, as soon as you walk in you feel right at home. It is beautifully decorated with all the beach colors and the furniture fits the theme. Five of us stayed a week and we had more than enough room. You have two great size bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a pull out sofa and an elevated queen air mattress in the closet if needed. The condo came stocked with plenty of towels and little extras. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook or if you just want to stock up with your favorites for the week. HUGE plus is the FULL size stackable washer and dryer. I have already reached out to the owner and let him know we will book again next year as soon as we firm up our vacation dates for next summer. We go twice a year and will stay at his condo both times. Check in time is 2pm which is FANTASTIC! You have time to unpack and get situated, then go to the grocery store before all the 4pm check-in folks arrive. This is a huge plus. If any of you have been to PCB and to the grocery store on a Saturday evening, you know exactly what I am talking about. The crowds are ridiculous! Check out is 9am which for some may not be a great thing, but for us it works perfectly. You are out before everyone else checks out and on the road before the heavy traffic starts back home.

Doug, the owner is wonderful to work with and truly wants you to have a wonderful time on your vacation. He also has a closet full of beach toys the kids can use!!

I highly recommend rental of this condo. YOU won't be disappointed!!

Nice Unit

My family of 4 stayed in this unit during our last PCB visit. We found the unit to be clean and as pictured. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our time there. The balcony, which is huge, is truly the highlight of the unit. My only real gripe is that we were surprised when we arrived to find out that you have to pay for parking and wrist bands that allow you access to the complex amenities (pool, beach, etc). It was only $20, but I would have expected that to either be included in the rate or noted somewhere on the ad, not be the first impression we had of our vacation home upon arrival. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property.

Owner's Response: My fault. I must not have told the guest that there is a onetime $20 charge payable to the condo HOA for a week of parking along with ID wristbands for the entire family. Apologies for the trouble.

The perfect retreat!

My girlfriend and I went to PCB just to get away for a few days and relax. And we found that in this condo! The unit is very welcoming and comfortable and has everything you need! A few things you don't expect but do get are small bottles of shampoo & conditioner, a fresh pack of disposable razors & shave gel, travel size deodorant and extra toilet paper in each bathroom. There's also plenty of coffee filters & dishwashing soap & powder in the kitchen. There was laundry detergent in the utility closet. There are kitchen & bath towels aplenty, and the wash cloths were folded like fans tucked inside hand towels. There's extra sheets and blankets and also a blow up mattress with a pump. There's even sand pails, noodle floats, sand mats, etc. for your use! On top of all this, the place is spotless! Be sure to meet Cindy, Client Services. She oversees the cleaning of the unit and also makes sure all guests are comfortable at the pool and beach every day. The young men working the beach area are polite & helpful.

The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. He allowed us to move our arrival out one day & extend without penalty due to a severe storm that cancelled our original flight. Of course, we were lucky that no one was booked right behind us or he would not have been able to do that.

Now to the balcony. It is amazing! The largest balcony I've ever had in PCB! It is the perfect spot for watching sunsets every evening, and we did!

Emerald Isle is in a quiet area of PCB, away from the rowdy strip, and is close enough to get where ever you want to go. During our visit it was mostly occupied by retired couples which was perfect for us. Quiet, pleasant, and retirees are so much fun! :) I will definitely return here when in PCB!

Great Memories

We meet Doug several years, and stayed in his condo the next year. This year was our second year to stay there, and enjoyed it very much. It is clean and well furnished, and this says a lot, because my wife owns her on cleaning service.

It is just far enough west to not be in the crazy traffic, but not so far that its a long drive to any where. Mike's dinner and oyster bar is great, and Salty Sue's is close. Then Pier Park is just down the road.

We are looking forward to our next stay.

We Came Back for Round 2!!

Last year my family of 5 rented this condo for the week of spring break. We enjoyed it so much, we came back for spring break this year! It is ideally located near attractions, but still mostly away from college spring breakers. With a heated outdoor pool, my children were able to swim every day and most days we were able to spend some time on the beach (March generally still isn't warm enough for swimming in the ocean here.) The condo, itself, is clean and well-appointed. There is nothing fancy, but with kids, we really didn't want or need a fancy place.

We enjoyed walking across the street to Mike's for lunch and/or breakfast and one morning we walked the 1.2 miles west to Thomas's Donuts for breakfast! Since Pier Park is only 2 miles away, it's an easy drive and well worth paying the fee to access the pier. We completely enjoyed walking the pier and watching the fisherman fish from the pier.

We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to PCB!!

Of course, that's our favorite thing.... but it's nice to know that on a rainy day you can head for Pier Park to shop, or eat or play. February 2013 in Paradise

My wife and I (newly retirees) spent the month of February 2013 in this wonderful condo.

The view was better than advertised. We saw more than 20 beautiful unobstructed sunsets just before heading out to dinner at innumerable close at hand excellent restaurants for all price ranges and ages.

The location is superb. We were exactly 2 miles from Pier Park which is shopping paradise. My wife really thought it was first rate and she is the consummate shopper. You can walk to the beach to get there, drive or bicycle on the bike lanes. Location ! Location! Location!

This condo is exactly 2 miles south of Conservation Park. If you like to walk, hike, or dirt bike (hybrid will work in most cases) there are more than a dozen well-marked trails from 1 to 12 miles in length. I walked 5 to 6 miles almost every day. You can bicycle to the trail head.

The unit was well equipped, everything worked well. Wireless internet supported our 3 PC's, which gave it a good work out. Cable TV has bonus channels which included Turner Classic Movies + 4 other movie channels. There were great movies to watch whenever we chose to do so.

The condo has 3 parking levels at ground level and across the street parking with easy access by a cool sky bridge. There are bike racks if you like to bicycle. Bayle's trail has about 10 miles of asphalt paved bike trails that can be accessed by bicycle from the condo. Points of access include Conservation Park, Brown Park, Gulf Road, Moonlight Bay and West Bay bridge.

There is a heated indoor/outdoor pool, large hot tub, and regular outdoor pool. The beach is readily accessible and you could not get much closer to the water. I never ran out of accessible beach front on my walks up to 4 miles either East or West.

The owner is great to work with. The next door neighbor in 910 is the property manager, and he is a good guy. I had no reason to seek him out, but it was nice to know he was close at hand.

There is a visitor center within walking distance of the condo and I would recommend loading up with information and maps. There is always some event being held worth experiencing. Conservation Park has hiking maps. The condo deck has a clear view of fireworks from Pier Park's pier.

This is a great condo - ideally sited, just 20 min from PCP airport.

Owner's Response: This is one of my favorite reviews ever! The winter guest really took the time and effort to give a comprehensive overview of what a stay on the beach is like. Most important, Panama City Beach offers healthy physical activity for all ages as well as ecotourism options which grow by the season. Conservation Park is a new gem in the local park system. If you visit on a regular basis, you can watch the wetlands actually restore themselves to their original pristine state! After the recent controlled burn of the forest, you can see the new growth and renewal. Our thanks again to our winter guests.

You could not be located more conveniently to the new airport as well as Pier Park with shopping, restaurants, and the renewed Miracle Strip. Frank Brown Park with all of its athletic fields and pools and Gayle's Trails are also easily accesible.
