Cascadas del Sol is a luxury development, high up on the hills with good view to the sea and to the mountains. Each apartment block has only 4 apartments and 2 penthouses. The complex has two large swimming pools and the tropical gardens have a rockery pond and waterfalls.

Our large two bedroom/two bathroom apartment is furnished to a very high standard and has panoramic views along the Andalucian coast, over the Mediterranean and across to North Africa. Our large one bedroom/one bathroom apartment is furnished to a very high standard and has sea views from the terrace. Styleful, modern furnishing from Ligne Roset and/or from Le Corbusier in a very tasteful ambience, fully fitted kitchen with granite tops, dishwasher, washing machine, cloth dryer, terrace area for drying, coffee machine, baking-oven, toaster, cook equipment from WMF etc. Wooden built-in wardrobes with safe, 180 x 200 cm Ligne Roset beds (160 x 200 cm in 2. Bedroom) with quality health mattresses and allergic blankets.

Cascadas del Sol is situated between Fuengirola and Marbella, only 25 Minutes from Malaga Airport and 10 Minutes from the old town of Marbella and 15 Minutes to the luxery port Puerto Banus. The small town of Calahonda, with its shops, restaurants and beaches is about 5 minutes away. Many golf courses are within a easy driving distance. Nearer to hand there are 3 restaurants and a small supermarket less than a kilometre away. Calahonda is well positioned for exploring further afield. The accessible motorway enables you to travel easily along the coast. Inland, the city of Granada and its Alhambra Palace (an absolute must to see) is just over an hour away and further afield you can visit Cordoba, Seville and Ronda in a day.

Was sollen wir hier noch gross bewerten ? Wir sind in unserem Leben schon viel gereist, und haben entsprechend viel gesehen. Das hier aber noch nicht: ein sehr stilvolles und mit Köpfchen eingerichtetes, top-sauberes Appartement (bestens dargestellt durch die Bilder) inkl. gefülltem Kühlschrank und weiteren Annehmlichkeiten, vermietet durch ein sehr sympathisches und unaufdringliches Paar, das mit allerlei Tips zu Land und Leuten aufwarten.
Kurzum: eine Top-Empfehlung, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ! Ein Mietwagen ist ob der Lage allerdings dringend anzuraten.

Eine Wohnung die absolut der Beschreibung entspricht. Besonderes hervorzuheben ist die sehr freundliche und unaufdringliche Betreuung durch die Eigentuümer. Vom gefüllten Kühlschrank bei der Ankunft bis zu den sehr guten Ausflugs- und Restaurantsempfehlungen.
Mietwagen ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Eigentlich ist schon alles gesagt bzw. geschrieben. Wir habe bis anhin noch keine so gut und komfortabel eingerichtetet Wohnung im Süden gesehen.
Es fehlt an nichts, man kann kochen ohne verbeulte Pfannen und die Messer sind scharf.5 Sterne sind wirklich berechtigt. Besonders toll sind die Restaurant-und Ausflugs Tips ohne diese man viel Lehrgeld zahlen würde.
Nur leider sind einige Bausünden (Betonburgen) in der näheren Umgebung begangen worden.

Zunächst möchten wir uns noch einmal bei unserer Gastgeberfamilie für die Gastfreundschaft bedanken.
Hinsichtlich der Angaben im Inserat bezüglich des Feriendomizils wurden unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt.
Die Lage und Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr ansprechend, sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Durch die Vermieter haben wir uns für unsere Tagesausflüge sehr gut vorbereitet und betreut gefühlt,
nicht zuletzt durch Tipps für spezielle Ausflüge und den Besuch ausgesuchter Restaurants durch unsere Vermieter.
Eine Empfehlung für dieses Feriendomizil haben und werden wir in Zukunft an Freunde und Bekannte aussprechen. Den Rest und viele weitere Überraschungen muß man einfach vor Ort erleben. Zu empfehlen ist auf jeden Fall ein Mietwagen um die ganzen Freizeitmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu nutzen bzw. zu besuchen. Es gibt schöne und sehr schöne Urlaube. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub und werden auch gerne wiederkommen.

Perfektion bis ins Detail

Auch auf die Gefahr hin, die letzten Bewertungen zu an dieser Stelle zu wiederholen: Die Wohnung ist nicht nur attraktiv gelegen und eingerichtet, sondern auch pragmatisch ausgestattet. Von der Küche bis zu den Bädern, es fehlt an nichts.

Highlights waren die persönliche und aufmerksame Betreuung mit vielen Tipps zur Nutzung der freien Zeit sowie die Küchen-Erstausstattung, die ein sofortiges Hetzen zum Einkauf vermeidet.

Für Hobbyköche passt nicht nur die exzellente Ausstattung der Küche sondern auch die vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten der Umgebung (Märkte in Malaga und Marbella, Super- und Hypermarkets in nahezu allen größeren Gemeinden der Umgebung).

Nach einigen kleineren und größeren Enttäuschungen mit Fewo-Objekten in der Toskana stimmte hier einfach alles. Würde gerne mehr als 5 Sterne/Koffer vergeben.
