Jewel in the middle of Marina di Ragusa, active beach town in southernmost Sicily with golden sand, new tourist port for boat excursions. The beach is at your feet. Palm trees. Boardwalk. Beach clubs. Bikinis. Shopping. Fantastic food and drink. Belonged to owner's grandfather who bought apartment when building was new in early 1970s. Neighbors have all known each other for 40 years! Feel at home with American comfort standards--air conditioner/heater, dishwasher, microwave, television (local channels), stereo. Washing machine (line dry). Bath has shower and bidet (no tub). Bedroom has luxury mattress, all linens, and two fold-out single beds for kids. Living room has two fold-out couches (double beds). Sleeps 2-4. Fantastic setting for extended stays and writing sabbaticals. English-speaking local caretaker.

Owner has large Villa Chiara (15-min walk away) with Mediterranean view, dream kitchen, 70 sq meter deck, baby grand piano, Foosball table, and more.

Best Location, Best Gelato, Best Beach

We found this hidden gem on Homeaway.com and loved every minute of our stay. From the second we arrived, we felt welcome. We were greeted by the owner/and her assistant who helped us get familiarized with the town. The beach-front apartment is right on the Piaza and the boardwalk. We got up every morning and went for a swim before getting a gelato at noon. So Good!! We had a fantastic time staying in this apartment and enjoyed our vacation in Marina di Ragusa. We highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to stay!!

Happiness, comfort and reliability! :)

There aren't many places in this world where one can enjoy all the nice moments, people and inspiration Marina di Ragusa proportionates and have this experience emphasized by the calmness found in the apartment i stayed at. :)
With the mediterranean at my feet and its waves performing an eternal lullaby, I stayed at a place that frankly was as comfortable as home (they have air conditioner, microwave and laundry!). Besides that, I really appreciated how reliable the info on this website is. Differently from other places available for rental in other cities around Sicily and Europe, this apartment is actually on the beach, leaving us close to the central plaza and great sicilian gelaterias.

I also had a bunch of facilities described here because the owner is a super sympathetic and kind lady who knows Marina di Ragusa really well, so we went to see historical sites in Ragusa that were amazing and I knew which the best restaurants and places to go!

Sicily seems to have an environment of simplicity and genuine happiness, and staying at such a nice place let me enjoy and feel all of this! I really can't wait to be back. Thanks!
