CROWNE POINTE CONDO - 3 BEDROOM / 3 BATH SLEEPS 8 *FREE WIFI

This condo suited our needs perfectly. The view is gorgeous! The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and paper goods. The condo was very comfortable. Everything was as stated and the owner was most helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone.

I would rate our stay somewhere between "good" and "excellent". The owners made the rental process easier than the other half dozen I have experienced. Upon arrival, the condo was "as advertised", clean, slightly older than "brand new", and well maintained with no suprises. There was plenty of storage space for our lake and boat toys. We have four children ages 9 to 15, and the unit was spacious enough that we never developed cabin fever. Prior to arrival, I was apprehensive about the condo being on the third floor, but the location turned out to be a positive thing; we never had to wait for the elevator, no overhead noises through the ceiling at all hours of the night, and the view from the balcony was awesome. The condo's location on the lake was perfect. Restaurants on the Blue Creek/StillWaters end are only ten mintes away by car. The drive to Auburn is maybe 45 minutes?
The condo's boat slip was adequate, but it's in open water, so you'll need plenty of bumpers. Very nice swimming pool...only complaint would be the usual complaints about community pools: booming music, etc...
Again, we had a very nice vacation thanks to the owners of this unit. I can't think of any family or small group of people for whom I would not recommend this rental property.

The property is indeed beautiful and comfortable. Any minuses are considered minor but would have been helpful and less time consuming had we known in advance a couple of pieces of information. We were not given the building number, just the condo number. Be sure you ask for the bldg. number and condo number. (Vague information provided ("middle bldg") and we ended up in the wrong condo beause we arrived at night and couldn't see that there were five buildings extending around a curve, instead of only the three that were visible at night when we arrived ... so we ended up trying to get in the wrong condo. A small sign on the kitchen counter advising there is a remote switch that has to be turned on before the dishwasher will operate would have been helpful and less time-consuming to discover. Also, be prepared there are no soap or shampoo racks in the walk-in showers so everything you need in the shower has to go on the floor of the shower. However, the furnishings and the condo were very clean and comfortable otherwise, the setting is spectacular and we would return because now we know about the idiosyncrasies!
