Looking for a place to get away from it all? Or would you like to be close to Crater Lake but do not want to deal with camping or hanging out in a tiny uncomfortable cabin? Try the Williamson River Ranch. Set among the pines overlooking over 60 acres of pasture, the ranch has all the comforts of home set on an 88-acre working cattle ranch.

Those who are looking for adventure can bring their kayaks or rafts and drift down the river. For the avid fisherman, the Williamson is a blue ribbon fishery. Do not forget your mountain bikes. The forest service roads around Chiloquin make for great adventure.

Those whose interests are more pedestrian can find a quiet spot under a pine for a reflective moment, stroll among the cows down to the river, have a barbeque on the deck or relax in the hot tub. If the temptations of civilization are too much for you, you can vegetate on the couch and watch satellite TV. The Williamson River Ranch has something for everybody.

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful stay. The property was better than anticipated. Danny goes all out to welcome his guests. We really enjoyed the brownies!
It was easy to find and the bedrooms were nice. The kitchen was up to date and we used it, quite a bit. This was a perfect place for a family reunion. Crater Lake was spectacular, although I would have chosen to come later in the year if I had realized there would be so much snow!! No snow at the ranch however and we enjoyed the hot tub and the canoe.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Williamson ranch House

The property looked better in the pictures on the internet website than in reality. The owner (whom we never met) was very nice and easy to communicate with. The caretaker (Jackie) was wonderful. She was vey knowledgable and helpful The property appeared run-down and could definitely use better maintainance. Furnture is very old and needs updating. Carpets definitely needs cleaning.

The accommodations are more than ample and the value is absolutely great! Danny exemplifies hospitality that is rare these days.

My only regret was that we didn't stay longer.

Quiet place away from it all, lovely horses on site and fun on the pond.

We really had a great time here, about 40 min drive to S entrance to Crater Lake where we spent most of our days. There was plenty of room for all of us (2 adults and 3 children)...the kids loved brushing the horses everyday and the skies were just beautiful at night. We also took the little canoe and boat out just about daily around the pond and even fished but they are just minnows in there that we could see. Washer and dryer are on site to and a great jacuzzi for star gazing or just relaxing in after a long day. The only thing that I wasn't aware of was that the owner lives in the house too, just has a door separating you from the guest side. It wasn't a bother and Danny was a great host, just something that wasn't expected. A great place to stay for a great price! Thank you for the great memories and allowing us to stay in the ranch!

A great time was had by all

We arrived a little late after a beautiful drive across from I-5. Danny was waiting to show us around and introduce the grandkids to their favorite part of the ranch, the horses. Petting and feeding them was their highlight, as well as boat trips on the pond. House was great with a big kitchen and plenty of room for our 5 adults and 2 kids, could hold more easily. 20 miles or so to the south entrance to Crater lake. It was a great day trip. Has a great hot tub and one of the darkest and clearest skies I've seen for star gazing. All in all a great experience.
