Beautiful lake, beautiful view with all the amenities, Skaneatles Village close by

Skenatalies is one of our favorite places to vacation and this cottage had everything we needed to make our week wonderful. We loved the out door fire place for sitting around at night roasting marshmallows. The deck had a large table that could accomodate 8-10 people and the gas grill made dinners out perfect., We enjoyed watching the olympics on the large flat screen TV complete with satalite viewing. The new large capacity washer and dryer made washing towels easy. The owners thought of everthing one would need and were open to suggestions. Our kids enjoyed the canoe, kayak, and raft/trampolene. This lake is one of the most beautiful of the Finger Lakes and the village of Skaneateles has many very nice restaurants from shusi at the Blue Fire Grill to fried fish at Dougs. Each morning we would go into the village for our expresso at Vermont Green Mountain Coffee and then on to the Patisserie for one of their amazing scones or muffins, or fresh donuts at the Skaneateles Bakery. Finally, we love to go to the Sherwood Inn for lunch or dinner. This area has something for everyone and we will go back year after year.

Excellent Property!

Our stay at 246 Trillium Trail was amazing. The cottage is quaint, and very well stocked with whatever you may need. We had a 13 month old with us, and the outside deck area was perfect for him to play on, and still be able to see the water. The cottage has a huge TV, however, who needs that when you have the BEST view of the lake, and night time sky. To see the stars over the water was breathtaking. As a Skaneateles native, I was very impressed with this cottage, and will be revisiting in the future! Highly recommend.

My friends and I found the cottage and location peaceful and calming. The cottage was clean with everything we needed. Then owner put some thought and effort into making it quaint with quality. We especially enjoyed the porch outside the living room and the electric firelplace.

Peaceful, Relaxing Vacation

We recently spent a wonderful week at this cottage on Skaneateles Lake. It was very early for us to be at the lake but the cottage was warm and cozy with fabulous views of the lake. It was so quiet and peaceful and the cottage was clean and had everything we needed. There is parking right next to the cottage and the stairs to the lake were easy as could be. The cottage is right on the lake and the Loons, Great Blue Herons and Wood Ducks were really fun to see and hear. The owner left a fresh loaf of locally-made bread and olive oil as well as wine from the local winery. It was heaven.

A perfect week

The cottage on Lake Skaneateles was just as advertized or even better. It was well supplied with everything that you would ever need. As it had just been renovated almost everything was new. The village of nearby Skaneateles is charming and we will try and return next year.
