Charming Isle of Palms home quietly nestled in one of the nicest areas on the island. Conveniently located just a short walk from the beach as well as only 50 yards from the Isle of Palms Rec center where you will find indoor/outdoor basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, lighted tennis courts, indoor gym, children's playground, and supervised activities for children.

Whether you are with your family or a group of friends, this is the perfect vacation home in Isle of Palms - in addition to all the amenities inside, you can enjoy the private, quiet back porch that also serves as a dining and outdoor living area as well as the expansive carport area under the house.

Bedrooms:

All bedrooms are equipped with high quality linens and all the comforts of home- TV & DVD in most rooms, bedside tables, dressers, lamps, nice chairs, etc. Master bedroom is located on second floor and includes a queen bed, private balcony with sitting area, walk in closet and full bath with jetted tub. The 2 bedrooms below share a full bath. 2nd bedroom contains a queen bed and 3rd bedroom is ideal for children, including two sets of bunkbeds (sleeps up to 4). Additionally, living room features a sofa bed and a Pack & play is also available.

Kitchen & dining:

Kitchen is equipped with all the cookware & dining ware needed for the most elaborate meals. Dining room table seats 6.

Home is very child friendly. The following items are provided for you to use as needed: pack-n-play, two child gates, high chair, and booster seat.

Location:

Located just a 20 minute drive from historic Charleston, there are countless sites to see, places to shop, and great dining. Within 5 miles there are over 15 restaurants, 7 golf courses, 3 marinas and several parks. Approx. 1 mile walk to Front Beach where you will find good surfing near the pier; bring your own board or check out the surf shops in the area.

Spend a week here and you will never want to go back to reality!

Much needed get away...With a total of five kids!

Great house to take a much needed beach vacation. The home is very comfortable, inviting, great layout, and perfect for a family to feel at ease and relax. Beautiful rooms, neat and clean, lovely decor, great laundry room and kitchen. The master upstairs is huge and gorgeous. The kids loved the large whirlpool tub in the master bath. The kitchen is ready to go and one of my favorite surprises was finding a docking station to play tunes. Just spacious enough that all of us never felt like we were crammed together. Very accommodating for children. We put just a few possible items to break up out of the way till we left. I was very impressed with how child friendly and equipment ready this beach house was. There were plenty of beach toys and a big wagon to carry things in including my 20 month old to the beach. The kids also loved the bunk bed room and screened in porch. The kids loved the playground adjacent to where we were and would have stayed on it if not for the beach. The area of IOP was in itself a lovely place to visit and had many opportunities to ramble and check out the local color. We also toured a little of Charleston, which I really enjoyed as well as the children. Their favorite stop was the pineapple fountain on the town's waterfront as well as the aircraft carrier at Patriot's Point. All in all we had an exceptionally fun time in IOP, and would definitely recommend a stay at this house. The house also had a list of info and phone numbers for our use which we did end up using when my husband needed a dr recommendation and subsequent ER visit for kidney stones. I have to say I was impressed with how friendly and generous the people of IOP, Mt Pleasant, and Charleston are. It made everything we did so pleasant. It was the best ER experience we have ever had. That says a lot! We also were able to easily reach the house owner with questions. I also forgot something behind and had no trouble contacting the owner who helped me immensely in recovering the article. Awesome, no hassle. Again I have say great place, house, area, and people. Oh yeah, the beach is beautiful too!

Great Home, Great Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this home in Isle of Palms. The home was clean, comfortable and accommodating. The home is nicely appointed with beach decor and soft relaxing colors. The screened porch was our favorite, though. It is surrounded with foliage and gives the feel of being in a tropical paradise. We had most of our meals on the porch, and it was a good place to escape to read and relax as the furniture was comfortable and the palm-leaf ceiling fan kept us cool even on the hottest of days. The beach was beautiful and not crowded, so we really enjoyed and had lots of space to play frisbee and horseshoes. The recreation center was right down the road and had a small gym that we could use to work off a few vacation calories. A very quiet and relaxing neighborhood with good restaurants within 5 minutes and of course, downtown Charleston about 20 minutes drive. The owner of this property truly cares and is very patient, friendly and easy to rent from. I informed the owner that the master bedroom bed was not comfortable and that one of the kitchen burners wasn't working. The mattress was replaced and the burner fixed. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We may just have to return for another memorable vacation.

We had a great time at IOP and the house was perfect. Location is close to beach but still private. Perfect for family with children. Thank you for the wagon. Screened outdoor dining area is great. Had everything you need for a good getaway. Very comfortable and laid back. Enjoy!

My wife and I spent the week here for our honeymoon and we had a great time. The house was in great shape and the open floor plan and hardwood floors on the main level were terrific. The wireless internet and flat screen were a nice touch as we used our Apple TV for a rainy day and laptops on the screen porch. I would reccomend this for families and or couples looking for a retreat thats within easy access to great restaurants and the beach. Thanks!

A wonderful getaway!

Our experience was all good.This is a very nice house with plenty of room. The owners were very nice to work with, as this was our first experience with vrbo. The kids loved it and we all want to come again. I recommend this house to any family needing a vacation.
