Our beautiful flat located in a quiet tree-lined street just two minutes walk from the tube. Newly decorated, it offers all you need for a short stay in London.
Situated in Zone 2 you are ideally located to be able to get to most of the major tourist sites.
The flat is on the first floor of a Victorian house A communal hall leads to the flats private entrance on the first floor.
The room has light wood floorboards covered by a nice rug . It has comfortable sofa bed, lovely armchair, wall cabinet and shelves, and a T.V for your convenience. The living room area includes a full equipped kitchenette with fridge, oven and electric cookery, large cabinet and nice wooden dining table.
There is a small bedroom that has very comfortable double bed, nice big wardrobe for your belongings and a small chest of drawers.
There is a large beautiful bathroom with bath and shower.
There is washing machine and dryer as well.
The flat is small, about 30 square meters but cosy and charming. Full of day light and big windows that has a view to a green garden. Although it is very central area, the flat is very quiet. It can easily accommodate two – three adults or a couple with two children. Clean linen, towels and dishes as well as WiFi are provided.
It is a stone's throw away from Camden Town and Hampstead heath and next to the train station so you can get to central London in 15 minutes!! There are plenty of night buses as well that operate in this area.
I will be happy to assist and advise as possible during the stay
If you study a map of London you’ll appreciate how central Archway is, however it’s also so peaceful. The local area is very safe and walking around is a must to truly appreciate it. Within a couple of minutes you’ll be in Camde Town, site of one of London’s oldest continuous street markets and always busy during weekday lunchtimes. At the end of the market stands the theater, one of London’s best known theaters now under the artistic direction of Kevin Spacey. Further down the road are a selection of fantastic restaurants and bars.
We are well served by local shops. There are a couple of cash machines (ATMs) within a few minute’s walk as well as Post Office, bank, supermarkets, organic grocer, coffee bars and bakeries.
Very central but in a quiet lined trees street
Location: Proximity to the tube was very convenient. It's right on the border of zones 2 and 3, so we got by with a one week Oyster card for zones 1&2. A couple of nearby restaurants were good (especially Sintara). Several small markets nearby for getting daily produce, dairy, etc. the neighborhood looks a bit sketchy in terms of upkeep maintenance, etc, but we never felt unsafe.
Flat: it was functional for us. It was generally clean and neat, though the cobwebs had not been dealt with recently and the main carpet was dirty. It had a strong and stable wi-fi connection. We had all the kitchen utensils we needed and a few grocery items we needed for making breakfasts and lunches. The weather was a bit chilly for us but the separate room heaters worked great. The layout of the flat is a bit awkward and cramped in places, but it was definitely workable. The shower over tub is workable but could benefit from a proper sized shower curtain with proper support. Although my wife had no problem with it (she sleeps cold), I had difficulty adjusting to the bed covers. We had a bottom sheet and a heavy comforter, but no top sheet or lighter weight blankets.
Overall this flat worked for us. The greatest attribute was the location. The host was responsive with any questions we had. We felt like it was a good value compared to other flats we checked out. If we were to visit again, we'd probably look at other options initially but would consider staying here again.
Appartement idéalement situé à 2mn du métro et bus. Très calme. Idéal pour trois personnes. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour et nous sommes prêts à revenir !!!
My family and me have a wonderfull stay in London, due to this apartment is so confortable with all the amenities that you need to be like in home. My little girl said that it was our London home.I have been kept in contact with Ruth and she replied me in a minute. The apartment is close to the Archway Station, so you can go to the centre in 20 minutes by tube.In its neighbourhood There are many good restaurants: indian food, Turkish, vegan meals; different kind supermarkets. So this is the best place to stay a short or long term in London. I,m sure that we'll back to rent it.
Four of us stayed here in December for our annual Xmas shopping trip. We found the flat cosy, convenient for the tube and in a lovely quiet, yes, quiet, part of London. We cant wait to come back and wouldnt consider staying anywhere else now. Altogether brilliant. Thanks Ruthie.
This flat was perfect for us during our stay in London. We stayed four days and couldn't have asked for a better location. Ruth was very helpful and kept in touch with us while we were there. The tube is just a few minutes walk away and easy to get to. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Ruth made us feel welcome with having milk, fruit and other items available to us. This flat was very welcoming and very comfortable. I would stay here again!
The flat was perfect for us during our stay in London and Ruthi was extremely helpful with directions and anything else we had questions about. The tube was just a few minutes walk away and the flat was conveniently located near many stores as well which came in handy. For being near so many things, the flat was quiet and peaceful at night and very comfortable. Ruthi made everything so welcoming with the fruit/milk and having the option of the fridge/kitchenette/laundry was also very nice. We’d love to come back! Thanks again :)
