The peach is within walking distance to most of the fun spots in Big Bear. From the Peach, you can walk to the slopes, lake and the village.
You will first notice the Beauty of Georgia street when you turn on it from the boulevard to head up to the Peach. The tall trees that flank it on both sides block the sun in areas to give the area a storybook feel. When the winds blow, the trees sway and it sounds like the forest itself is speaking to you.
When first arriving at the Peach you will notice how quiet it is except for a bird or two, then as you step out of your car the sweet smell of the mountain air will tell you how close to nature you really are.
The peach is a 2 story rustic home approximately 1300 square feet with 2 bedrooms, 4 beds that can sleep 7 people comfortably in their own beds. There are 2 full baths, a full kitchen and a natural rock log burning fireplace with your own free firewood*.
Outside there is enough driveway to park 5 full size cars with a carport and a 2 car garage.
The lower bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser, closet and TV while the huge upper bedroom has a king size bed, a full and a twin child's bed with a dedicated bathroom with bathtub. The huge upstairs bedroom is perfect for entertaining the kids with a new 32' TV with internet apps like Netflix, while you and your friends can enjoy themselves downstairs with a movie or games.
There is a full kitchen with a dishwasher and all of the essentials you would expect in a kitchen. The 4 place kitchen table can expand to seat 7 for your big parties.
We have included a professional Poker top to fit over the kitchen table for your poker players out there. Nothing beats a great Poker Party in the woods.
There is a full bathroom upstairs and a bathroom downstairs with a shower, toilet and sink.
There is also a washer and dryer for your dirty clothes.
The Peach also has a garage and a carport to keep your cars out of the snow and the rain.
There are lots of great things to do in the peach including foosball with your own foosball table, watch TV or a movie and free on line gaming of over 200 games from OnLive.
Imagine sitting under the stars in your own very own 5 person hot tub. There is nothing better than enjoying the quiet grandness of the forest while sitting in a bubbling hot tub with a glass of wine under every star in the sky.
There is also a 42' high resolution TV with internet apps including free Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and many more.
We also have installed a new tankless water heater so you can enjoy endless hot water. This is something you will appreciate when your whole group gets back from skiing and you all have to shower at the same time.
For the gamers in your party we have a foosball table and the OnLive gaming system with 2 controllers so 2 people can play together. The gaming systems contains a library of over 200 games to play instantly This library has games for young and old kids. No discs or downloading to worry about here. Just Play! Most of these games are new releases not a bunch of old releases.

The location of the Peach is one of the best in the Big Bear Valley.
In the summer you can walk to the lake and enjoy a nice sunny day on the sandy beach and if you get too hot, take a dip in the lake or you can hike right out of your front door and into the National forest. While hiking up the mountain trails, (make sure you bring your camera) prepare yourself for scenes right out of the movies as the trails will take you to green valleys and other areas that truly are breathtaking. In some spots along many of the trails you can see the entire lake. Geocaching is also a great thing to do while hiking around the valley.
You can also walk to the village to and enjoy some shopping or a romantic dinner.
In the winter you can get in the back way to Snow Summit and get in and out much quicker than the people on the boulevard. Snow Summit also has a free shuttle to Bear Mountain. Both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are owned by the same organization, so the tickets you buy at one park will work at the other.
To make sure you and your family and friends have a safe vacation, the Peach is has smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the house.
