The apartment is located on the 5th Italian floor of an elegant old building with elevator, at Via Cicerone.
From there the most important historical sights can be reached with a short walk: 300 metres away from Sant’Angelo Castle, walking distance from the Vatican and, just crossing the bridge, the famed Piazza Navona and Pantheon can be easily reached.
If you visit a website maps and enter the address you can have the correct idea about its excellent location.
That area is full of all kind of shops (good restaurants, coffee bar, grocery, supermarkets, delicatessen store, genuine patisserie, bank etc.) and, since it’s a very central area, it has an excellent connection with public transportation. This place is very quiet and safe at night too.
This very spacious apartment (about 130 sq.mt) with original old tiles on the floor consists of a large double bedroom (queen size), a bedroom with twin beds that can become a double queen size bed, a very large living room divided into a dinner room with a double sofa bed (French size – cm. 130x190) two bathrooms with stall shower, a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances, so that up 6 people can comfortably reside.
The apartment has washing machine, A/C, TV international channels , Wifi fast internet connection, toaster, Italian coffee machine, hair dryer, iron and iron board.
The high quality of this apartment and its excellent location it’s the best way to spend your holiday without any problem and any stress.
My 3 friends and I stayed at this apartment in early May. Excellent location, Giancarlo is great to work with and goes out of his way to be helpful. We used the airport pickup service which I highly recommend and were taken directly to the apartment. A bottle of wine, several bottles of water and fruit greeted us. A true coffee maker would be a big plus, but everything else was great. We had no issues with running out of hot water and that was with four women! Oh, and that really good baking smell is a "secret" bakery right around the corner. Stop over and get some fresh pastries for breakfast the next day.
This apartment is just wonderful. Clean, quiet, safe and extra large - it is even better than the pictures reflect.
If you are a family traveling together, this place will give everyone room to move, or gather. And Toni's attentiveness and responsiveness was top-notch.
Naturally, the elevator was a big plus, too!
I would recommend this property to anyone, and if I ever return to Rome I would certainly try to book this jewel, again!
We were lucky enough to choose this flat for our vacation in Rome. The location was absolutely perfect; close to supermarkets, restaurants, taxi stands, walking distance to shopping, tourist sites, etc. The flat itself was plenty big for my family which includes two teenage boys. There was enough hot water for showers, free wi fi, washing machine and soap. Toni was incredibly helpful answering questions about various sites and answering questions (how does the washing machine work!). The flat came with coffee, sugar, and some cooking necessities. I can't say enough about how great it was to stay in this flat. I would recommend it 100%.
This is by far the most difficult review to write because we have so much to say and not enough room! We simply cannot say enough! No words can express our gratitude for Toni. He saved us when we were in desperate need of an apartment in Rome at the very last minute. He contacted us immediately, and was so attentive! From the first phone call Toni was amazing! He met with us personally at the apartment for check in! We stayed here for 6 nights and at another one of Toni's properties our last 4 nights. Both apartments were spotless! They provided more than we expected! Toni went above and beyond!!! You will not be disappointed! We were absolutely amazed at the level of customer service that we experienced with Toni and his staff as well as the overall quality of Toni's apartments! We have been to Italy many times and this was by far the best accommodations that we have ever had. It was with great sadness that we had to head home on Wednesday. Not only did we have a great experience we have a new "friend". Thank you from all of us to all of Toni's staff that we came in contact with that made our trip even more special. You all made our stay in Rome more than we could have asked for! If anyone is traveling to Rome they MUST stay at one of Toni's apartment rentals. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Until next time! :)
My family of 5 recently had a wonderful stay at this very charming apartment. This is just a gem of a property. The apartment is located in a lovely building on a very nice commercial street. It is on the 5th floor but there is a lift readily available if you don't want the climb. It is set back off the street and was very quiet. The apartment itself is lovely and VERY spacious! It is larger than the photos and was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My husband and I had our own room, two of our kids stayed in the room with 2 twins and my oldest slept on the pull-out in the living room. We were able to explore the city during the day and come back to relax in the apartment without feeling like we were on top of each other. As mentioned in other reviews, the water heater in the bathroom is small but we had no problems at all if kept showers short or split them up between AM and PM. There is also an extra half-bath which was great to reduce congestion. Being on the top floor, the apartment did heat up during the day but the room air-conditioners in each bedroom and the living room worked fabulous.
The location of the apartment is just ideal for anyone wishing to explore the city. We were 1 block from Piazza Cavour and a couple of blocks from Castel Sant' Angelo. Piazza Navona was just over the Tiber from us and an easy walk for our nightly dinners. The metro rail is a couple of blocks away, and bus routes run right in front of the flat. There are also many wonderful cafes surrounding the apartment for morning cafe and evening gelato! We couldn't have asked for a better location!
I can't say enough about the prompt replies and service that we received from property management. From airport arrangements to restaurant help, Toni was so responsive and professional at every step. When I lost my phone on the last night of our vacation, Toni even went above and beyond to track it down and arrange to have it safely returned to me. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling with a larger group and want a more spacious alternative to hotel options.
We spent five days in this appartment during the second week of July. Tony was very helpful arranging transportation for our family of four, as we were arriving by train into Rome. The building is very nice and well located. The appartment is two blocks away from Piazza Cavour where you can take many buses to different places in the city, or a cab. The neighborhood is pleasant to walk through and there is a small supermarket, a pharmacy, and a small tabac (for bus tickets) one block away. The Pallazzaccio is a very nice nearby restaurant that we would like to recommend.
If you arrive late on a Sunday, bring something for a light dinner beacuse there is nothing open around..
The apartment is very spacious and fresh, and it was very clean. However, we would kindly like to suggest some possible improvements: the decor looks kind of outdated, the beds are noisy and were too soft for us (some people might like it) , the water heater is too small for an appartment that can accomodate four to six people (not all of them will shower with hot water, which can be a problem in winter) and the kitchen does not have a microwave, a blender, a family-sized coffee maker or a teapot.
Despite these minor things, we spent a great time in Rome and in Tony's apartment, and felt it was worth the price we paid.
