My Honest Opinion

I rely on reviews of hotels/condo units/cottages when making the decision to stay somewhere with my family, so I wanted to share my experience of this Hampton Beach Cottage with other potential viewers. My family and I stay for weekends on Cape Cod, Ma., Hull, Ma., enjoy stays at Old Orchard Beach, ME as well, this was my first stay at Hampton Beach, N.H.
I reviewed extensively, hotels/motels/cottages and found this listing, liked the photos and description of the cottage, and took a chance.
When we arrived, the owner Brian was finishing some last minute details of maintenance on the internet service, my family and I being his first rental of the season. I was nervous to have the owner on site while moving all our belongings into his cottage, but then I had the chance to speak with him. Brian is an extremely proffessional businessman and very welcoming, like an old friend welcoming you into their home. It was a pleasure to meet him. Very proffesional.
We own a horse farm in Ma. and are use to being surrounded by miles of acreage, so my first impression, "oh no, there are neighbors." They were a pleasure as well. I had enjoyed my morning coffee out in the backyard each morning and struck up a conversation with one of the neighbors, very nice person. I was so surprised at how quiet they were day, or night.
The backyard is fenced in, making it the perfect private place to lounge in the Sun, or grill and enjoy a meal at the picnic table with family. The three kids LOVED this place, they were so excited to run upstairs and pick out their rooms. They were thrilled to walk seconds to the beach in the morning to find shells, sea glass, and sand dollars. We spent hours walking the beach.
I wasn't familiar with the area and thought I would be nervous sleeping there at night. I was wrong, we all slept so soundly. I slept on the couch bed in the living room and slept like a baby. This cottage is so cozy, sunny, bright and beautiful.
My brother and his family joined us on the last day of our stay and fell in love with this cottage, wondering if we could all rent it again. This cottage is even nicer than the photos listed. It is a very bright, cozy, comfortable, and IMMACULATE cottage. You can tell the owner truly takes pride in his property.
The one and only problem with this cottage, you'll eventually have to leave and go back home to reality and the hustle and bustle of life. But while your there, you won't be dissapointed. ENJOY!
Owner's Response: I enjoy hearing happy stories.....Thank you for taking the time to share yours!
