Extra space/pool worth the drive
We arrived on Easter Sunday afternoon and the cleaning service must have decided not to show up because we were greeted at the door by the local property manager apologizing profusely for any inconvenience caused by them cleaning while we settled in. No big deal.
We stayed for five days and nights, leaving on Friday morning. I have broken down my review into pros, cons and our recommendations for ourselves and others
Pros -
Awesome pool, just the right size for our family of six.
Two master suites: one king size bed and one queen size bed
Very spacious house so everyone had plenty of room
TVs in all the bedrooms kept the kids occupied
There are numerous restaurants within a few minutes drive (Chilli's, Taco
Bell, Starbucks, etc)
There is a grocery store one mile down the road
Game room. enough said.
Extra towels were provided
Cons -
Disney World is actually about 15 miles away and takes about 20-25
minutes to get there, but traffic was never a problem.
Very basic cookware, so if you want something specific either bring it with
you or buy it there.
Recommend -
If you plan to stay more than two days, bring a box of cheap trash bags and
extra toilet paper.
Bring a small bottle of laundry detergent to do the load(s) of towels you
have to do before leaving.
Bring/buy some dishwasher detergent.
DON'T GO TO WALMART!!!!!!!! IT WILL BE CRAZYYYYY! There is a nice local
grocery store just down the road from the house.
Go to SIMKA's ice cream shop (google it) this is a local ice cream place
with good ice cream and a small town feel.
Recommended for:
Age 55+,
Families with Teenagers,
Families with Young Children
