Spacious, secure and very quiet high-end apartment in Recoleta, Buenos Aires' top residential neighborhood. The apartment allows plenty of light to stream in through its floor-to-ceiling windows that give onto 2 planted patios that are perfect for entertaining or dining under the stars. It features 4-meter high ceilings (13ft), 2 en-suite bathrooms plus a guest cloakroom, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, air-conditioning and heating. It also has a WiFi printer/scanner/copier and over 900 cable TV channels including foreign news channels. The apartment also has a washer/dryer, a necessity in Buenos Aires humid climate. We provide our driver to pick you up at your port of arrival at the same cost as a taxi and we can also arrange for a chef and waiting staff for any special meal.
The apartment's decor and furnishings feature the work of Argentinian artists and artisans (Andrea Juan, Leopoldo Estol, furniture by El Catango and Bacano). The apartment is accessible throughout (including the shower), and the price includes once-a-week maid service (more frequent can be arranged for a nominal fee). It also has a safe for your valuables, and we provide a cot should you require it.
The building has a porter and sits within an area of top restaurants, the city's best specialty food shops, luxury boutiques, top movie theaters and famous attractions such as Eva Peron's tomb, the beautiful colonial Recolets Church, etc. Buenos Aires stunning opera house, Teatro Colon, is 1.4 miles away while Palermo and San Telmo are each a 15mn cab ride away. For art lovers, MALBA is 1.7 miles away, the Museum of decorative arts 1.4 miles while the Museum of Fine Arts and the gorgeous museum of Hispano american art are only 1 mile away.
The city's top gym chain has a 4-floor facility within 100 meters and you may benefit from a free 3-day pass. One of the city's top jogging areas, Avenida del Libertador, is 0.7 miles away. Taxis are plentiful in front of the building 24h, the metro (Subte) has 2 nearby stations both about 600m away (Callao & Pueyreddon Line D that goes to the Casa Rosada and in the other direction to Palermo)

Buenos Aires is an extraordinary mix of cultures and geographies, it is blessed with an excellent climate, and it is the capital of one of the world's last remote countries where one can feel truly relaxed and at peace with nature. This apartment is a haven of peace and tranquility right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of some of its best shops, restaurants and attractions.
The spaciousness that such high ceilings provide is unique and so is the tranquillity that comes with being able to completely open the living room onto a wall of greenery.
Our own chauffeur will pick you up at the airport and drive you back for your return. He will also handle the keys. He is reliable and charges the standard rates (he does not charge for waiting).
If required, we can arrange a chef and staff for a special evening at home (the charge in BsAs for that service is reasonable). The chef cooks everything at your apartment and comes with a waiter. Of course, the clean everything before leaving.
We are a young family of four from Calgary, Canada. About Eric - he is very attentive and is very accessible. We emailed him and his replies are within a day. He was very accommodative with our requests and responded to our inquiries about various things in BA like neighbourhoods, etc.
The apartment is clean, well maintained and well cared for. The location of the apartment was very good. There is a small supermarket across from the apartment that would meet most of your needs within a few days of your arrival until you get familiar with the neighbourhood, where by, you would venture out to a bigger super market called Disco which is about a 3 minute walk.
If we return to BA, we would definitely return to Eric's apartment again.
Location is everything. This apartment puts you in easy walking distance of the best restaurants, wonderful shopping and the basic services such as groceries, banks and coffee houses.. It is half a block from a main boulevard so you have easy taxi access to the rest of the city without the noise and busyness of a main street. The home is beautifully appointed with art, linens and service wear more typical of a stylish modern home then a vacation rental. We really enjoyed the glass wall which can be completely opened to the patio. You can easily entertain in the home or on the patios. Building residents and the concierge were friendly and had a sincere interest in helping us with directions or problems. We had a couple of questions during our stay and the owner responded immediately and followed up to make sure our concerns were addressed. The apartment has been recently renovated, so the appliances are all new and work efficiently. I have been back twice, bringing 5 guests the second time who were equally impressed with the style and comfort. The owner speaks several languages and was able to provided personal recommendations for restaurants and tours to fit our individual tastes and needs. The home was spotless on arrival and the maid was a nice touch in the middle of our stay. I felt I got more value then it cost and would not hesitate to recommend this home to fellow travelers.
This apartment is ideally located in the best part of Buenos Aires but it is also in a very nice buidling, and decorated with the utmost taste.
Very quiet, totally air conditioned, elegantly furnished, with large comfortable beds and very modern bathrooms: all the amenities you would expect in a five star hotel are there, minus the high price!
Just outside, we can find cafes, restaurants, a fabumous bakery a few hundred feet away ...

Recoleta is the most established and the most central of Buenos Aires' exclusive residential areas. It is home to the city's top hotel, the Alvear (10 mns walk from the apartment), where high tea is an exercise in people watching and overall a delightful experience. In Recoleta, you ill also find the famous cemetery with Eva Peron's tomb and the delighfully colonial church of Nuestra Senora del Pilar (also 10mns). The Recoleta Mall houses some of the city's top movie theaters while the Patio Bullrich Mall on Posadas street has the top Etiqueta Negra clothing store as well as many other labels.
Recoleta is of course home to several excellent restaurants as well as all the shops you might ever need, especially along the two main avenues Santa Fe and Callao.
