Purchased during the Summer of 2010 as a brand-new dream beach house, I spent the past year putting the finishing touches on this immaculate and beautiful East Beach home. Very large rooms, all with private baths.
Rental of this home includes use of all of the toys that your family needs for the perfect vacation: a street-legal 6 passenger electric car; a Primo Grill (like a Big Green Egg but even bigger and better!); Gas Grill, a private swimming pool; bicycles (4 NEW adult bikes, 1 is a small for the smaller adult, older child) beach chairs; beach toys; beach towels; and coolers. No need to cram your SUV with all of your beach gear; I have it all here!
Located on 13th Street on East Beach on St. Simons, this beach house has private parking, and is a less-than-two-minute walk to the white sands of the beach. In fact, the house is situated in a unique part of East Beach where the beach is always present and accessible, no matter whether the tide is high or low. As a former beach-house renter, I would advise you to verify that wherever you are renting has easy and constant access to a beach, away from the crowded public beach and public beach parking.
After renting over 8 houses on East Beach and having less-than-stellar experiences, I decided to purchase my own house and rent it out when I could not vacation. Older homes that we rented on East Beach had cleanliness issues, and frequently smelled of mold and mustiness. Most homes had poor quality sheets and other various issues (e.g., inaccessible beaches, a broken air conditioner ,etc.). I spared no details in this house, e.g., premium linens, nice towels, high-end appliances, premium flat panel tvs with HDTV. You will find this house the cleanest, nicest rental for the price on East Beach.
Bedrooms Setup:
1) Upstairs Master: Huge Room with King Bed, Dresser, Entertainment center with 52' Flat Panel HDTV. Huge sitting room, His and Her Vanities, Large Tub, Giant Limestone tiled shower with Seat.
2) Upstairs Bedroom 1: Two (2) Queen Beds, Dresser, nightstand, 32 inch HDTV. Own bathroom with granite vanities, shower and tub
3) Upstairs Bedroom 2: Two (2) Queen Beds, Dresser, nightstand, 32 inch HDTV. Own bathroom with granite vanities, shower and tub
4) Downstairs Bedroom: One (1) King Bed, dresser, 32 inch HDTV, Own bathroom with granite vanities, shower and tub
Mattresses are all premium mattresses.
Outdoors: Private pool, with privacy fencing, Deck around pool. Outdoor stainless shower with hot and cold water. Primo charcoal grill (Like a Big Green Egg, but bigger). If you know what this is, you know the food cooked on it is amazing. Gas Grill for those not adventurous to cook with charcoal.
Will include use of a street legal electric cart. It is brand new, seats 6, cruises at 20-25mph, and is an excellent way to manuever the island. Seat belts, roll cage. Electric Cars rent for 200+ dollars a day on St. Simons. I will include the use of this car free with rental (with a waiver signed, and agreement to pay for damages incurred).
Kitchen: The kitchen has a Miele Masterchef Double oven, Miele Microwave, Thermadore induction cooktop with island hood, and tons of storage and counter space. Pots, Pans, and utensils to cook anything. 48 inch refrigerator/freezer. 2 more huge freezers and refrigerators in the garage.
I guarantee you will love the quality, and cleanliness of the house. I have a lot of experience renting houses personally, and know the disappointment of renting a bad beach house. This house is a PERFECT beach getaway for St. Simons.
A huge bonus is the electric car, free with use, and nice quality bikes.
