We have been renting this house for the second year in a row and we will gladly do it again next year. It is very comfortable and spacious. There is everything you need to make your stay unforgettable. The house is very true to the description from the amount of dishes available to the comfort of the beds. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer are in excellent conditions. The gas fireplace in the living area adds a very warm mountain feel to the all experience. After a hard day of skiing, you can easily relax in the Hot Tub. It is big enough for 4 to 6 people and very well maintain. The outdoor barbecue is just right by the kitchen and once again, large enough to grill for lots of people.
It is well located, not far from the slopes (5 minutes drive to Peak 7) and walking distance from the trails, about 8 minutes walk for snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
The owners are very accommodating and responsive to make your stay the best. You can feel their goal is for you to enjoy your vacations and feel at home.
My family and I rented this home over the Thanksgiving Holiday and absolutely loved staying here. There was plenty of room for all of us ((7) of us total) and would have easily slept another 3-4 people very comfortably. The beds were super warm & comfortable, the house had everything you would possibly need while you are away from home. We loved that this home is pet friendly making it possible to bring our dog along with us. The best part of our trip was waking up one morning and spotting a large Female Moose in the neighboring yard, we were able to get some great pictures of this beautiful animal. It was a wonderful and relaxing get away for all of us. I would recommend this home to anyone and have added it to my favorites list for future rentals. Thanks you to the owners for providing such a wonderful home.
This is a great place to get the family together. The owners made everything so easy and accommodating. We had plenty of room for the kids and adult space. I will definitely be back to this wonderful place.
This is a great house! I went with a group of friends for a skijoring with your dog trip. We had 6 people and we all had a comfortable, private place to sleep. Owners were great and attentive to all of our needs. House was well stocked with cooking supplies and basic condiments. We are going back in 2015 and hope we can get this house again!
My husband, children and I stayed in the house for a week during spring break. I have been hesitant to write this review as I want to keep this house available for myself!! But it is not fair to the owners who are wonderful, very accommodating, fair and honest. So I decided to share my little secret with you all.
The house is very cute with a very warm, cozy mountain feel. The description on Homeaway is really what you get. It is well equipped, spacious and easy to live in. The floor plan flows very well. There are two living areas, one on the main floor and one in the basement so children and adults can have their own space. There is a real laundry room which is always convenient when you stay for a week and want to pack light. Everything is straight forward and all equipment inside and out was functioning very well. It is worth to notice also that the house was immaculate clean when we arrived.
It is very well located, close to town, and to the slopes. It is also a walking distant from public and Nordic Center trails. The owners have a map to explain where to go and find the trails. The street is very quiet, the backyard is spacious.
If you come in the winter, you definitively need a 4x4 wheel drive. And I also highly recommend Yaktrax (for snow and ice) if you plan to walk in the streets of Peak 7. It can be icy in the morning and late afternoon.
We will definitively rent this house again!
I stayed here on a recent family vacation, and it was perfect! We definitely want to come back, and highly recommend this cabin.
- Great hot tub! Very big and with a nice view
- Just 10-15 minute drive from Breckenridge, Peak 7, and snowshoe trails
- Owners were great: they provided us with lots of information and left a nice thank you note
- Very spacious: We had 3 couples, so each got their own floor!
- Has a nice rustic cabin feel with a warm gas fireplace
- Would be hard to access without 4 wheel drive (winter)
- Hot tub was kept pretty low; we had to turn in up in preparation to get in
- Further from snowshoe trails than we thought
Overall, we had a great weekend. This was a wonderful place to stay and in a nice Breck neighborhood! I'd recommend it for any group of people.
