2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Full Bath (Sleeps 4-6)

Newly remodeled upper level,of lakefront home on Big Barbee Lake near N. Webster, In. The cottage offers knoty pine through out. The remodeled bathroom offers new fixtures with a shower-tub combo and an exterior door unto the back deck. A new 5' well and an 80 gallon hot water heater will handle all your water demands. New carpet and furniture brings it all together. The new wood stairs & upper deck are illuminated at night with led lighting.

The property offers a large front yard with a 10' x 20' shed to store personal belongings in. A covered fish cleaning station with foot control. Enjoy a fire and gaze up at the stars around a large fire pit down by the lake. Big Barbee lake is a 304 acre sport, ski, and fishing lake, with access to six additional no wake lakes. The property has 50' of seawall frontage with an L shape pier 68' out for mooring your boat or other personal watercrafts. Also included is a boat lift with 20' canopy to protect renters boat an inclement weather.

About the lake.: The lake offers excellent swimming with a solid bottom and an average depth of 3 feet at shore, slowly sloping to 5 feet 30 yards out. Full-service marina/bait shop with private launch within walking distance. Several public boat launches nearby. Trash pick-up provided. Lots of excellent restaurants, golf courses, antique shops and places of interest within 20-40 minute radius including Village of Winona in Warsaw, Amish Acres in Nappannee, Flea Market in Shipshewanna,and Tri-County Fish and Wildlife Area offers great hunting on 3,546 acres, just 15 minutes away.

Things to do.: A heavy duty fiber glass paddle boat and custom bean bag toss game are provided for renters to use during their stay.

Notes: Air Conditioning: New large window unit with remote control. Both storm doors have built in rolling screens to allow a great breeze through out the cottage. In addition are lighted ceiling fans in the living, dining, and bedrooms. Parking for empty trailers, and three cars. R.V. parking is not allowed ! New wood patio & deck at top of landing with under hand rail LED lighting. Great view off the lake from patio area and privacy on deck behind house. Lakefront: The cottage sets on the north side of the lane, with 130' of property to the south before the lake begins.There is a small swing set for the little ones and a foot controlled stainless steel sink at the fish cleaning station. A boat lift was added this year so tenants could keep their water craft safe in case of bad weather.The lane is one-way in, same way out.There are only a dozen or so properties to the east, so limited traffic. Minimum Age Limit for Renters. Smoking outside only, please discard of butts properly.

We had a great time! The property was clean and modern and well kept up. The owners were very kind and eager to help with information and assist with anything we needed. The family enjoyed it so much, we will be booking again next year! Highly Recommended.

We just returned from spending two weeks at Bishops Retreat. We had a great time. The cottage has everything you can think of that you need. The view is awesome. We brought a boat and it was so convenient to launch it at the Marina located on the same road as the cottage. We had such a great time that we are planning to stay another two weeks next year. We recommend this cottage to anyone who is wanting to enjoy a vacation at the lakes.

Mark enjoyed the fishing action on the lake.Wife and children liked the cottage feel, huge yard and plenty of sites to see.The best part was just relaxing !
