Surrounded by meadows, larch woods and a gorgeous alpine world, the comfortable house is waiting for guests that want to indulge themselves with a wonderful time. In the evening you can enjoy the silence and calmness under the covered pergola, in front of the fireplace, while letting your children play on the grassland.

Our “Sunstar” has 2 floors. On the 1st floor, there is a luxurious kitchen for the preparation of all the delicacies you are eager to eat. The kitchen has a dish washer, an oven, microwave oven, coffee machine, electric kettle, refrigerator, mixer, toaster and dinnerware for 10 people. Next to the kitchen and the dining room, there is a big, comfortable, and cosy living room, which is equipped with satellite TV and radio. There are 2 double bedrooms on this floor, as well as a bathroom with WC. On the second floor, there are 2 double bedrooms with shower and WC. Linen and towels are also available. Up to 8 people can feel here at home. In the southern part of the house, there is a large play and sunbathing area with garden furniture, pergola and garden fireplace. Directly in front of the house, a parking lot for 4 cars is available.

Ski: Saas-Grund offers a variety of attractive winter sport activities. 35 km of ski slopes, wonderful winter hiking paths, a natural and artificial skating ring and an 11 km long coasting slide. The cross country skiing run is 26 km long. From here you can go either to Saas-Balen or to Saas-Almagell. The snow rich and sunny skiing region of Kreuzboden-Hohsaas, with its simple, large ski slopes for beginners, but also with its challenging glacier slopes fort he professionals offers you an unique view upon the 18 four-thousand metere mountains of the Saal valley, the highest mountains in Switzerland. Winter activities: ski shows, sledding and skiing by night, sight seeing in the village, snowshoeing, ski racing, curling, sleighs, snow tubing and available hiking paths.

Tolles Chalet mit versteckten Mängeln

Wir waren vom 20.12.-3.01.09 im Chalet Sunstar in der großen Wohnung für 8 Personen. Es handelt sich hier um ein sehr gepflegtes und sauberes Chalet, was sehr gut ausgestattet ist in einer herrlichen landschaftlichen Lage. Hier hat eine achtköpfige Familie wirklich Platz. Schade ist jedoch, dass es von den vier Schlafzimmern nur eines gibt, wo man den Brenner der Heizung nicht hört. Dieses ständige Brummen stellt nachts schon eine große Herausforderung dar - lauter und intensiver wie eine Klimanlage - die man notfalls noch abstellen kann. Leider war aus der Anzeige bei Fewo-Direkt auch nicht zu ersehen, dass die Waschmaschine und der Wäschetrockner im Nachbarhaus stehen und je Gerät die Benutzung kostenpflichtig ist. Das hier angekündigte Telefon kann auch nur gemietet werden und befindet sich nicht automatisch im Chalet. Eine Garage steht nicht zur Benutzung bereit - dort hat der Besitzer seine Gerätschaften abgestellt. Zu den Nebenkosten kommen auch noch die Kosten für den Müll - diese Angabe fehlt hier leider - bei acht Personen kommt da schon was zusammen ....
Die Menge der Handtücher fällt pro Person mit einem Badehandtuch und einem kleinen Handtuch doch sehr mager aus. Handtuchwechsel nach einer Woche. Die Bettwäsche wird für 14 Tage nicht gewechselt.
Schade sind auch die Preisunterschiede, die wir leider erst nachträglich festgestellt haben. Abträglich ist, dass das Haus bei anderen Feriewohnungsanbietern - vom Vermieter ebenfalls direkt - um einiges günstiger angeboten wird..
Aufpassen sollte man auch hier: Steht der Schweizer Franken zum Euro schlecht, darf man nachzahlen - so ist es uns ergangen . Im Vertrag wird jedoch suggiestiert, dass man die Gesamtsumme per Anzahlung und Restzahlung im November geleistet hat. Diese Summe bezieht sich jedoch nur auf den Abschluss des Vertrages und den damaligen Stand des Euro zum CHF - was jedoch nirgendwo erwähnt wird. So kann ein vermeintlich günstig gebuchter Urlaub im Chalet Sunstar durchaus zum teuren Urlaub werden.Also aufpassen!!!
Kurz gesagt: Tolles Haus, wirklich gemütlich, wunderschöne Lage, massive nächtliche Lärmbelästigung durch Heizung, um die Gäste bemühter Vermieter, Angaben stimmen mit den örtlichen Gegebenheiten nicht in allen Punkten überein.Bei der Lage des Hauses ist ein Auto sehr zu empfehlen.
