Located 12 miles upstream of Saratoga, Wyoming on the banks of the Upper North Platte River. Elk Hollow Lodge has provided many fly fisherman peace, solitude, and great trout fishing for many years.

Guests staying at Elk Hollow Lodge gain private access to over 8 miles of the Upper North Platte and Encampment River systems. Wild rainbow and brown trout are abundant in our river stretches. Wildlife abounds with elk, deer and moose frequenting the properties regularly. Resident bald eagle pairs create great opportunities for the wildlife photographer. Elk Hollow Lodge has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable: 5 bedrooms (each with private bath), eleven beds, large kitchen, laundry room, deck over the river, pool table, BBQ, etc.'

Perfect accomodations for a family gathering

We joined friends for a recent three-night stay at Elk Hollow Lodge. We had plenty of room for our gathering of 12 - very clean, well-furnished, kitchen perfect for preparing meals for everyone, clear North Platte River flowed just below the large balcony off the family room, interesting property to explore as it is a working ranch. A female juvenile moose strolled onto the front yard early one morning, then back into the river where one of our party was fishing - about 25' from him. We were thrilled. Quiet, relaxing, and very private. We highly recommend Elk Hollow Lodge.

Elk Hollow Lodge was PERFECT for our family gathering to celebrate our mom/grandma's 80th birthday weekend. There were 17 of us aged 15 to 80 and we all agreed we couldn't have found a more perfect spot. We didn't feel crowded or cramped - there was plenty of room for quiet times with a book or a nap as well as a crazy game of cards or pool. We LOVED having morning coffee or evening cocktails on the deck, often spotting elk upstream. The yard was plenty big enough for kickball games and family photos ~ kids fished and swam in the river. The kitchen was stocked so well and the stove and BBQ were huge ~ very easy to prepare meals for our big group. We really appreciated everyone having their own bathroom. I could go on and on. Before we left, we sat down with calendars to plan our next visit. Can't wait!!
